We enjoyed a lovely river trip with 11 of us in our group, we had the boat to ourselves. The children were given a trail page to find things along the way which kept them excited and amused. Very relaxing and good value. Would recommend.
A very pleasant trip on the River Medway,upriver from Tonbridge to the very end of the navigable part of the river and back to Tonbridge by the castle via a different route. Jus £11 for almost an hour's ride on a small boat holding up to 12 passengers. It's very peaceful, the boat is comfortable and fairly quiet. The skipper handed out some activity sheets for the kids onboard which kept them engaged. Parking nearby just the other side of the castle. It's possible to rent row boats from them at the same location
Booked a boat trip today with our two children. I had been before back in July and had the same skipper, Isaac. He was very informative and friendly and even let my two children steer the boat for a little while. They loved it!! £10 per adult and £5 per child and it lasts about an hour. You can book the boat privately for an hour for £100. Up to 12 people. Would 100% recommend! Looking forward to booking again before the trips stop for the winter.
My daughter is now a regular on this boat with her carer so we thought it was about time we took a trip with her. We all loved every minute of it and had a long relaxing ride. My son found it highly amusing while we were waiting to go that a swan put its head over the boat for some duck food. We certainly would consider going again we had a most enjoyable afternoon and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my friends and other family members. Thank you so much.
We thoroughly enjoyed our boat tour. The skipper was kind and informative. First tour starts at 11a.m and last tour at 4p.m.
Excellent activity with friends or a quite row with a partner. It's sure to make you laugh at times. It's a beautiful setting and the people hiring were very accommodating. Very reasonably be priced for a group. Highly recommend
Today we went on an hour boat trip with 11 of us and a great skipper. There were 3 large seats in the back and a large seat for two next to the driver and a small area at the front of the boat that is open and the kids really enjoyed it. We ate cake and had bubbles at the back of the boat and the driver was very friendly and interactive with the kids, letting them sit in the 'drivers seat'. It was a very hot day however the breeze made the boat trip quite relaxing. It was a good length of time and loop of river. Would definately recommend Tonbridge River Trips.
