It's a very nice place, however, after PAYING for complimentary drinks, they did not provide anything for those who would have preferred non-alcoholic drinks - forcing me to pay again. The staff looked absolutely sick of everything and clearly did not want to be there - one girl rolled her eyes at my partner for accidentally standing in her way, despite us apologising. The food was also JUST pizza and there weren't any plain options or anything - with barely any cheese on any of them! Bad experience, I wouldn't book this place again even if you paid me to. Pretty ceiling though.

Very strange experience. First impressions: As a disabled person I had to go through the staff entrance that was filled with dirty mops/cleaning products and personal items to get to the restaurant which I could only do because my partner had to walk up the steps and ask for a ramp or another entrance. Lots of people walking through the large restaurant to go to their hotel rooms. The decor is that of an early 2000s mental asylum but with feathers and reeds. The seats were dirty and despite it being completely empty when we arrived there was dirty tables and flies everywhere and the floor was disgusting. The staff were lovely. Unfortunately the Beef parfait was served on a hot dog bun and only tasted like English mustard and the “egg yolk” was some kind of gelatinous paste tubed on top like how you put ketchup or American mustard on a hot dog. The asparagus was over cooked and soggy and unseasoned and the portions were tiny for the price and flavour. The sauce that came with the fish was inedible it was so sour and overpowering. Mocktails are the same price as cocktails and our waiter offered to make me a mix of lemonade, elderflower and apple which was 4.10 (very kind of him) and it was lovely. Cutlery and cups were clean. There was also a very confusing mix of music that were both the same volume. It was our 4 year anniversary date and thankfully the company was beautiful but the food was unimaginative and unless you were starving as we were inedible. Definitely won’t be going here again.

An amazing wedding venue. Incredible events hall, staff, door staff were brilliant. Gobsmacked by how photogenic and wonderfully lit interior. Loved every moment there.

Lovely decor, we had afternoon tea and I would say it was one of the best I have had in Bristol. Reasonably priced at £33 including a glass of prosecco or £25 without. Plenty of food, most of us couldn't finish it all. Also had a free refil on my decaff tea! Sandwiches were tasty and pastries seemed hand made in-house, as they were fresh and delicious.

I booked this restaurant as a treat for my friends 60th birthday. She travelled down from Birmingham and met me here in Devon. We then drove to Padstow for lunch. The reason I took her here is it looked so pretty and her favourite is fish and chips and this restaurant is called The Harbour Kitchen. Fish and chips was on the menu but after ordering we were told that they didn’t have any fish and chips. Crestfallen that my treat for my friends 60th didn’t happen and that the service was so slow. She ordered a burger which really wasn’t the best. My dogs liked it though. Beautiful venue, disappointing experience.

Had afternoon tea with my young daughter, food was dry and tasteless. Service was poor. Was told on the phone they would give me a couple of extra bits for me to share with my toddler but didn't see that. Then because I asked to take the service charge off they were rude to me, then as I left no one helped me open the door to help me with my push chair (when I was quite clearly struggling!!) I will not be coming again and I wouldn't recommend. Oh yeah it was over priced too

Had an afternoon £15 two-course with fillet of bream and sticky toffee pudding. The only issue I encountered was the fregola that came with the bream had absolutely zero seasoning. It is still a decent meal for only £15.

On our first visit, we went for the lighter menu and loved the Prawns and Truffle Mac and Cheese. The second was all about the Champagne Afternoon Tea which we thoroughly enjoyed. A great selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones in a tremendous setting with good service. Reservations are recommended.
