   I’ve been a regular customer at Rio Peri Peri and always enjoyed their chicken. I usually ask for extra sauce to keep the chicken juicy, especially as it tends to dry out by the time I get home. This was never an issue before, but recently the owner has started charging extra for sauce, which feels unfair given it’s more about keeping the food enjoyable rather than asking for freebies. The chicken itself is tasty, but the change in attitude towards loyal customers is disappointing.the owner should stop with charging customers for extra sauce and focus on fixing the problem — customers just want their food to arrive as good as it tastes in sit in.

   They serve delicious, flavour packed food that really hits the spot. The seasoning and taste are consistently great, making it a go-to for piri piri lovers. However, the portion sizes especially the fries can sometimes feel a bit on the smaller side.

   Been a rios customer for a long time but the sta Dard has just dropped now over the last couple of years. Order a meal and got burnt chips that were brown threw them in the bin. The next day ordered again and told staff that my chips were burnt or old so please check them today. She apologised and said they will make sure that it doesn't happen again. It did!!! I'm guessing the owner has lost interest now and probably just left it to staff to run. Also very dear now for what you get.

   I actually found Rios whilst looking for somewhere to eat because my first choice had closed down. After taking a stroll further up the road I decide Rios looked the most inviting from outside. The girl was friendly while taking my order and also later on. The food was amazing, I ordered half chicken peri peri with fries, good size portion, quality chicken that was well grilled and not burnt. Initially I was the only customer, a couple arrived to eat in shortly afterwards and another few take out customers. I could see the place would have a good atmosphere when busy, just hope the food would remain as nice. I know some places when they get busy the food is rushed, over charred etc.... I'll certainly will be eating here again. Great start to my first visit to Hamilton/Motherwell.

   First time I've seen this place so thought I'd give it a try as I love chicken piri piri. I ordered the Chicken n Rice (I'm Asian! Everything comes with rice. Lol). I wanted medium-hot which was not in the list on the board, but the counter girl told me that is their "mild" and it was actually spot on! Anyway, I was the only there at that time so the cook was concentrated on my chicken and adding lots of splash of the mild sauce to my rice. The order came with yoghurt tub on the side, curry fries and a drink. Love the yoghurt with the chicken. Curry fries was soggy and a mehhhh for me but I absolutely loved the chicken n rice! Anyway, I tried it again yesterday, but this time around they were busy. A 20min wait for me. Unfortunately my dish this time, although it still tasted good, was a bit dry and I did a takeaway and the yoghurt tub was missing! Without it, the meal just didn't taste as good as before.

   My daughter loves Rios, but not anymore. They're main clientele are teenagers but word is slowly getting round they have no respect for teenagers. We ordered a takeaway tonight. One meal being a grande, no salad and no mayo but they delivered same!!! I called spoke with a girl who just automatically put the manager on and he said.....no it was not stated on the order, no salad, mayo etc therefore no chance of a replacement. This is not what I ordered and now I have one unhappy teenager. The manager was not willing to replace it!!. My daughter went to the restaurant and reluctantly they gave her the burger she originally ordered. However, I am not impressed with this service at all..hence no more orders from us. A justeat order turned into a fiasco....something I have no time for. If only a little customer service from Rios and attention to detail on they're orders then perhaps I would continue my teenagers ordering. But no way!! It has taken us an hour and a half to try to enjoy a meal!!! Tata! Rios! Never again will my hard earned cash be put your way! AVOID THIS PLACE....NO MANAGEMENT RESPECT BUT MOST OF ALL NO RESPECT FOR CHILDREN WHO LOVE THEY'RE FOOD....DISGRACEFUL

   Got a take away, the girl serving charged me extra to have my drink as a can instead of being dispensed, wasn't happy. How do they expect me to take my drink home without loosing the fiz or spilling it in the car. Small portions especially the fries.

   An amazing place. The staff are so cheerful, helpful and polite, the decor is gorgeous, felt so welcome and cozy straight away. The food was made to order in an open plan kitchen, which was very clean and everything was made fresh. The food itself was absolutely delicious! The kind of delicious where you stomp your feet with excitement as you eat. Thank you! I will definitely be back.
