Great curry house, used as takeaway for several years and food has maintained a really high standard throughout. No bad experiences. Full of flavour.

This place is great. I ordered a mutton Rogan Ghosht and some Pilau rice for dinner, and god was it amazing… Incredibly tender, juicy and spot-on mutton. As an Indian myself, I can tell you that Rogan Ghosht doesn’t get much better than this. Also very kind staff, and nice cozy atmosphere. Price-wise, I really can’t complain. The Rogan Ghosht was £10.50 and that’s a price I’d be willing to pay for it any day, especially considering the good amount of lamb. The Pilau rice was also on point, though perhaps a bit on the expensive side. If you like Indian food, this is the place. They also have mild options, so don’t worry about the spice. I would recommend it to anyone, and believe me when I say it’s worth driving to even though it’s not in the city centre. Overall, excellent! I’ll be coming here again for sure.
Hands down, the best Indian I’ve had in Bristol. Exceptional food, and a great menu. The staff were really lovely too, and great with our two year old daughter, even when she was having a good cry and being loud.

Some of the very best curries that you will find anywhere! Delicious, freshly cooked food made from the best ingredients. The Bengal Raj has consistently been outstanding for many years. Thoroughly recommended!

Amazing place. The portions are huge, the food tasted really well. The staff gave us really good recommendations. It was our second time there and we will probably come back soon!
