   I put in my order for train tickets from Colombo to Ella six weeks in advance as recommend by their website. As the tickets become available to book 30 days out, I would have expected a response regarding whether they had secured tickets at around 30 days out. At the three week out mark after hearing nothing, I emailed multiple times asking about the status of my tickets. Eventually I got a response stating that 'this particular train is not available to the system yet', and if I would like a full refund. I responded saying I didn't want a refund, and asked when the tickets would become available. Again, I received no response. I did my own research and worked out I would need to take a different train, or change trains in Kandy. I emailed again, and got a response where I was offered two options. I immediately responded providing my preference, and asked to secure that day so I could get on with booking the rest of my journey. Again, I did not receive a response. So I responded back to provide me a full refund in order for me to source tickets an alternative way (I got the exact tickets I wanted through another organisation). As mentioned in other reviews, the price paid to VSLT is higher than the face value of the ticket, so you are paying for their service. I did everything right as stated on their website, and I would have expected much better service than I received. I shouldn't have to chase up my tickets and send multiple emails in order to get a response.

   I booked my holiday in Sri Lanka with this company and I was deeply satisfied with The excellent service they provided. My driver was very friendly and had a good knowledge of the area. I had also booked my train tickets through them but the train I had originally wished to go on was fully booked so they had sent me an email prior to my journey with alternatives to my original request or an option to receive a refund. Very pleased with this service. Strongly recommend.

   Perfect holiday, We book our family holiday with Sri Lanka tours, they very flexible with our requests , all the hotels we stayed was very good and driver who took us around the Island was fantastic, they used very cleaned vehicle and driver was able to speak good English, only minor issue was that attractions fees were not included in the package but this was informed prior to our booking,

   Avoid this company under any circumstance! After reserving a train ticket in Sri Lanka, they happily took my money (10 times the original price for the service of reserving a seat). They declined and offered me another train at a price, that was even higher then on the website listed. When I confronted, they just canceled my reservation. It's been 2 weeks, and I still haven't received my money back! Customer service is rude and unprofessional. Do NOT use these scammers!
