Such a good Chinese (and I used to work in a high-end Chinese restaurant, so have had a few dishes in my time!). The Chef is a young man from China ( Xiamen in Fijian Provence). The dishes were delicious and I'd eat there every day of our trip if my waistline would allow!
Absolutely terrible experience! I’ve been forced to give one star—otherwise, I wouldn’t have left any. Two items were missing from our order. I rang up and told the woman about it, and she said she would sort it out and that we could pick them up in 5 minutes. When we went in, I explained again what was missing to make sure it was clear. She then proceeded to tell us that it was our fault the order was wrong and missing items, and that we should make sure we know what we’re ordering next time. She spoke with her boss, who went through the order ticket with her, and again they blamed us for not ordering correctly. We half-resolved the issue, but then the woman proceeded to pick an argument, showing us the menu and asking if we could “see it properly.” She was extremely rude the entire time and clearly did not want to help. The food itself was awful—tasteless and chewy. The “BBQ” sauce was bright orange and didn’t taste like BBQ at all; it simply tasted of water. The egg fried rice looked and tasted like plain boiled rice with a little egg sprinkled in. Safe to say, I will not be returning, and I will recommend everyone take an extra three-minute walk to Riverside instead!
What a selection of Asian delights. Chose Malaysian , was warned it is spicy. No problem, a medium heat with a little bite. Very enjoyable. Ready in 10mins. Owner came out to car with order. Shall return.
We are stopping on a nearby campsite and has a couple of takeaways delivered to the site. The meals were delicious and still hot,fast delivery,I ordered at 5pm and was met at the campsite entrance at 5.10 by a friendly and courteous lady. Highly recommended.
Very tasty food. Very accommodating with the gluten-free requests and seemed knowledgeable about cross-contamination risks. I'd definitely be using them again.
An unassuming exterior but the food served is delicious. Very helpful staff. We don't go anywhere else for a Chinese takeaway. We have picked up and had a delivery and both were good. Be aware that it's cash only; no cards.
Excellent food and really big portions. Such a lovely helpful lady serving at the counter. Deffinatly worth a visit if you around the area
The food was nice but a bit greasy. It was a large order so I am surprise that I was charged 10p for a plastic bag that they packed the food in which was so flimsy it served no purpose to be used again.
Wonder freshly cooked take away. Very large portions so much so neither of the 6 of us managed to finish our meal. Unfortunate tho cos I really like my meal.
