    I was at this matalan today in the afternoon with my daughter we picked out some lovely clothes and got directed to the girls section by a lovely worker who’s name was Ellie Lauter, She helped us get a suitable size and helped us find the section we were looking for! Will be back here again lovely clothes and staff, thank you!

    Customer Service from Darren at the Coatbridge store was second to none. I was having issues with my egift card, eventually got the card to work all down to his patience. Darren should be recognised for his outstanding Customer Service by the store manager.

    Disgusting customer service. Closed their fitting rooms, so I asked at the till if there was a limit to how much I could return (was going to buy it all, then return the stuff I didn’t like or didn’t fit). Was initially told no limit but then told no refunds on sale items! Only to a gift card! Which would be ok if I’d been able to try it on in the first place, but no - obviously they only care about the initial sale. Will take my money elsewhere to another store

    The new layout looks fabulous and they have a great range of bedding, pillows and bed spreads. So much so we bought some. The girls at the check out were funny and engaging, even dealing with the issue with the door alarm going off in a friendly and sensitive manner.

    Great layout and selection of items available. Modern and bright look. Easily found something that matched exactly what I went in for, and at a very reasonable price. Even has toilets available, which is a 1st for me in a Matalan store, and found these to be very clean and presentable
