Really friendly and helpful staff. Great value products and home section is fab. Toilets in need of a refurb as at least 2 of the doors dont lock in the ladies.
I went here 02/09/2025 around 2:30pm to pick up items I bought on line. One woman on check out while others standing around. I was told to queue for click and collect. The woman that served me was lovely. Then after getting my parcel I looked around the shop. The shop has so much. Really lovely stuff.Great displays of clothes for kids for Halloween. Shop was excellent.I bought lots. Maybe staff standing around should serve the click and collect customers. So we don’t have to queue twice.
I've been coming to the Matalan in Wishaw for years, and it's a solid, reliable staple on the local retail scene. Located in the Caledonian Retail Park with plenty of free parking, it's a convenient stop whether you're doing a big shop or just popping in for a browse.
Called in on Saturday 5th July around 1140 am. Intended on purchasing two pairs of shoes and a jacket. The lady at the checkout directed us towards self scan when we would have preferred service from an assistant at a till. Struggled with removing security tabs. Decided to abandon this nonsense and head for a proper till. The lady in question was rather brusque and mildly disrespectful. Maybe she has had little or no customer training. Left the items which we later purchased at Matalan Coatbridge where we received a polite thank you after items were purchased. Much better.
Good assortment of kids clothes and shoes and sensible prices. Most of the items are available at many sizes and are generally of good quality. Got some adult clothes from them and am very pleased with them too. What is commendable is that most of the clothes do have tags and if they are on the hangers, they are on the right ones and sorted smallest to largest, which makes shopping much easier and faster experience. In terms of quality and price-tags I would place it between Primark and M&S.

Great all-around. Great choice, prices, and friendly staff. I'm not sure if it is still there as it has been a while. Loved the fact this store had a breast feeding/baby change room.
