   What an awful pharmacy this is, in fact I can’t remember a time when it was a decent one. Got a prescription yesterday opened it and almost 50% of the medication was missing with no explanation called them and the person who answered the phone had this he couldn’t care attitude didn’t offer to resolve it for me. I am living on my own and I cannot get to the shop as I cannot walk due to extreme pain levels I’m experiencing, I know this is going to an issue over the holiday period and that when I ask my doctor for more he is not going to issue more when the original dose prescribed should last me a further 7 days. Would recommend that you find another chemist than use this one.

   Unbelievably rude! Some of the front desk staff are lovely, but the pharmacists and owner I assume couldn’t care less about customer service and the stuff they come out with is shocking. They were being so rude to the lady in front of me, poor woman. Then they were really rude to me/ all I wanted was my prescription but it’s like they don’t want you in there and you’re causing an inconvenience. Over the last 10 years of using the place on and off- I only use them because of convenient location, but I dread it every time because they are so unpleasant and awkward to deal with. Every single time I have been they say they do not have my prescription, and make me jump through hoops, but every single time they have been wrong and they had it all along they just couldn’t be bothered- it’s almost a joke and so predictable every time - I have made every effort to go elsewhere every time I can. Avoid if you can!

   Organised a delivery for an elderly relative, but the medication was never delivered. When I physically went to the pharmacy to pick up the medication, I was told I had to wait until it was delivered on the next delivery day (Thursday). That day came and went without medication. Relative was then without medication for four days and counting. When I asked if they could contact the driver, I was told he was 'old school' and 'didn't have a mobile phone'. The pharmacy have lost my relatives prescription medicines, failed to deliver twice, and I am beyond angry.

   I have never ever been to this pharmacy yet and they have had my prescription. Considering they have so many staff members it is very disorganised and you’re waiting for ages. I am always asked to return later which when I do they often still don’t have it. Safe to say I will no longer be using them and have changed my default pharmacy with my doctor’s surgery.

   I have never had a good experience on visiting this pharmacy. FIrstly my husband was given a prescription from the hospital for chloramphenicol for applying to his back after minor surgery, I handed in the prescription they asked me to return in an hour which I did to be told that it was a hospital prescription and they could not supply, I returned home and phoned the hospital to be told that it was not a hospital only prescription, returning to the pharmacy the pharmacist refused to supply it saying that it was not being used for the correct purpose, I then went down to Speedwell pharmacy and they dispensed without any problem and new what it was for. There have been other instances, last week I was told they had not got the prescription which the surgery had phoned me to collect, the next day the meds were delivered! When I was at the pharmacy I purchased some eye drops when I arrived home I found they were out of date so returned them enquiring at the same time as to why they had delivered the meds, and previously told me that they had not got the prescription! I was told that all home deliveries where kept in a differend area and patients knew this apparently !well I had never been told ! the eye drops were replaced, on arriving home I found that the pharmacist ( Len again) had given me ones for cotact lens! so back to the pharmacy to be told that they were ok to use, having googled them before returning them I knew this was not the case as they put different additives in for contacts. I now hopefully have the right drops. Unfortunately I have a husband who is housebound and going backwards and forwards to the pharmacy takes a lot of time and effort but is the only one locally. I find most of the counter staff helpful, my issue is with the pharmacist.

   Rude pharmacist, disgraceful customer service. Such a shame for a village chemist to be so bad, when many rely heavily especially those who cannot travel further & many elderly people within the village. The Pharmacist is utterly rude. Regularly late for opening, I waited this morning for it to open at 0900 - when the pharmacist turned up at 0902 he went in & opened a few minutes later (it rarely has staff in ready to open on time). Rather than burden the doctor I thought a pharmacist may be able to help. He shouted for me to go away for another 15 minutes because he wasn't ready & had to turn his computers on - whilst rolling his eyes & huffing. I assume the till and computers should be running by 0900! On another occassion - he has point blank refused to give my husband my prescription because it was sent by the doctor the same day (it was urgent & I was told to take immediately) and he didn't have time. On a more worrying occassion I took a friends child into the chemist as the child was burnt in the cafe next door by a falling cup of coffee - he screamed go to a doctor i don't treat children, then carried on gossiping to his friend. His staff are terrified of him. I am not sure if anyone regulates these pharamcists, seems rather worrying. He is in the wrong job!

   Truly disappointed with my experience with the pharmacist, he showed zero sympathy or interest, and was just incredibly difficult, I don't think I've ever had a conversation with a healthcare professional where I've had to work so hard. I would have put it down to a bad day but going by the other reviews here this sadly doesn't seem to be the case. Genuinely surprised by his lack of care.

   Popped in to have a look around as it looked nice from the outside. Lots of health and beauty products. Store was clean and tidy. Staff behind the counter asked if I needed help and I said I was just browsing and was left alone to have a look in peace. A very rude man works here and his attitude is just disgusting. He was talking to other customers in a very abrupt manner. Maybe he was having a bad day but talking to customers in the manner in which he did was just awful. I don’t like shopping in a place where I don’t feel comfortable. Sure to say I don’t bother spending money here.

   Gave me someone else’s prescription! Rude and very short mannered staff, high prices and very limited opening times. This pharmacy is the reason I order my prescriptions online now.

   Avoid this place if you can! The pharmacist is incredibly rude, unhelpful and incompetent (worryingly!) The staff that work behind the counter are lovely and try to help and I feel sorry for them, that they have to work for such a horrible man. They often don’t have the meds in stock (not a new thing, pre-pandemic it was the same. It’s been the same for years!). My husband has health problems and has various monthly prescriptions. So many times they would not have any of his meds in stock and the rude pharmacist would just shrug his shoulders. He could not care less that my husband needs regular medication or he gets very poorly. We now obtain all our prescriptions on line and we get them every month without fail. The pharmacy does not do what it is supposed to….dispense medication to customers!
