I order my repeats at least 10 days ahead of time factoring in the delay time of 3 days. Staffing seems to be an issue since Samir retired. This morning there was a note saying sue to staffing issues they’d open at 10 abc when I checked again I had been changed to 11! Not ideal customer service.
Long waiting times to pick up a prescription and slow service. Unhelpful staff , when asked of a product the south Asian pharmacist said "I don't know if we have it" and proceeded to the customer behind me. Who is supposed to know whether you have it or not? Mind-blowing really
NEVER answer the phone and you still have to wait days to get a prescription filled. They refuse to deliver to my gran who can barely walk so she has to get a taxi into town to get her prescription when I can't collect for her. They never seem to get doctors prescriptions through, you then have to argue with the doctors to send the prescription again or get Boots to acknowledge they have the prescription which takes days to resolve. All the staff need replacing with staff who actually care.
This is pharmacy only. There is very little stock they have on shop floor. The staff is very welcoming and service is good but as much as I'm not a regular, the last time I went I had to wait outside for 20 mins as they were on their break.
The Covid outbreak real has caused a lot of issues for the staff and shoppers a like. The pharmacist have been working exceptionally hard to make sure everyone gets their medication. Always pleasant.
