   AMAZING !!! Me and the wife decided to order from here (unexpectedly getting almost the same dish) and it was absolutely amazing We had a broken popadom ?? they gave us an extra one !! We had extra salad !!! I am so happy with this order we will definitely be coming here to visit///ordering again Highly recommend. 10/10 amazing

   Terrible experience. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and deceptive with the billing. They forgot our drinks, forgot a side dish, and brought my main course without rice. By the time the rice finally arrived (after I had to chase it up and get snapped at by a waitress), my partner had eaten half of hers. We were also seated in a high-traffic area surrounded by delivery drivers collecting orders. The biggest issue is their "dirty trick" with the bill. They hid a 10% service charge in the middle of the itemized list (between drinks and food) rather than at the bottom where it belongs. I missed it and paid, only realising later. Even the waiter admitted it is usually at the bottom. The curry was tasty but the Phall is not as spicy as advertised (milder than Nando's Extra Hot sauce). Between the order delays, the rude service, and the hidden fees, we won't be returning.

   AWESOME FOOD. Visited tonight & had wonderfull time/food. On entering the restaurant it had a chilled friendly atmosphere about it. The customer service was amazingly friendly & you can tell they care deeply about their customers happiness tending to your every need with a nice cool Kingfisher lager to kick off my night. Onto the food itself as I consider myself as a experianced curry taster. The Rogan Josh I ate trust me was second to none, I could tell it was made with authenticity as the flavour was exceptional and teased you onto the next yummy mouthfull. I loved the fact the accompanying rice was also PERFECT. I was delighted with the whole night I had here. I cannot fault anything at all and intend to re-visit as soon as possible. Great portions , great prices. THE BEST IN BRISTOL. YOU MUST CHECK IT OUT TO BELIEVE IT !!!! 10/10

   Just ordered the Murg Tikka and Chana Chaat — I can’t even explain how amazing the food was! So delicious, with generous portions. The yellow raita was super tasty as well. Since it was a buy-one-get-one offer, we were more than happy. Only one request: please never change — keep the same taste, portions, and prices!

   First time trying Oh Calcutta, we had a table for 4 booked on a Friday night. Initial thoughts on entering were that the restaurant looked quite simple and basic inside. Not a bad thing for me personally but for anyone craving real character to the restaurant I'm sure there are better options in Bristol. The staff were all really friendly and prompt in taking orders and serving the food. The menu choices were great and incredibly low prices! Actually had to double check at one point! Whilst the prices were really good I think this was reflected in the portion sizes, they weren't small but if you're arriving there really hungry I would definitely not be afraid to get a few extra dishes! That being said all of the food we ordered tasted really good and I had no complaints there at all. The restaurant has a "bring your own booze" policy so don't hesitate to stock up beforehand. Conveniently there is a shop right next door if needed! Overall a decent night with good food, definitely worth a shout if you're with friends and after a cheaper meal! I just would have liked slightly bigger portions because what I did order tasted really good!

   Possibly the most disappointing restaurant in Bristol. Not a natural moaner or complainer I sat here for 2 hrs awaiting a delicious curry. This was not the case. With deliveroo couriers and other fast food taking priority I asked several times about where our order was. Genuinely this restaurant doesn’t care that you have bothered to come to them and patiently wait and buy drinks in their premises. Seriously don’t bother they are garbage if their food is nice I can’t say as they failed to actually do the bare minimum and serve food and as a restaurant they are rubbish. Avoid at all costs.

   This restaurant is a joke. 2hrs after we sat down we still didn’t have our main course, despite watching two other tables that arrived after us being served before us, one of them managed to eat and leave before we had eaten. We were told multiple times that we were next, and the staff even objected when we said we would be leaving. We were not told of any delay in the kitchen, and I worry we would still be there now if we hadn’t left after 2hrs. No apology, no explanation, no food.

   2 times I visited this place. Both times the food are very tasty. Okay, some people reviewed saying it is not authentic. If they think because their food did not come out greasy or bright red colour is non-authentic. Then I would rather eat this type of curry. I can taste the difference between all their currys, each tasted very nice and different. Not like some curry house, everything tastes the same with the same red colour. The portion size is very good. And my god, the price is extremely good! And the lady front of house is always polite and attentive. I really enjoy their food. One of the best I have tasted in Bristol. And trust me, I do know my currys!

   Great reasonable priced curry house for when you just want to have a load of beers and some good grub. The owner and the girls are lovely they are really nice and remember your face and always have time to say hello. A great experience, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays get busy so if your uncomfortable in the busy times I would avoid these times.
