I have tryed so many biriyani around the world. Some are over cooked, too much spicy. But this resturant is so special. I love that aroma, colour, taste and everything in the chicken biriyani. It is a small resturant in Bristol but giving best thing to the people. I tryed Masala fish and bread as well, that was so soft and finger licking taste. The team made the food quickly and they are so friendly aswell.Desi Dera is a must visit resturant for biriyani lovers.

I eat here regularly and the food is always good and prices very reasonable. For the same price are mcdonalds you can get 100x better food here. The chapli kebab, Naam, tandoori chicken, pilav rice and curries are all fantastic. The staff always treat me very well and do a very good job, they work very hard. The manager should be proud of them.

Tried their Fried masala fish with daal Mash, aaloo palak and chappal kebab. Only fish was super delicious but unfortunately rest of the food was average. After dinner ordered Desi chai but again a complete disappointment, sugary with less tea bags used, not well cooked.

This is gem of a place for taste. However from a Customer services perspective, have to rate it very low. The food was good although doubt itβs run by Pakistani as service people were not speaking any dialects from pakistan. Likely afghani. That said we had karahi which was good. Although not the typical tomatoβs you would expect but slightly creamy and still tasted nice. (I am not really a fan of cream in food which is usual to adjust to the western taste taste) Naan were par excellence straight out of tandoor as you would expect in pk (only took pics of roti) Biryani was good too but I didnβt try it. We also had chicken tikka which was more like chicken boti and was nice too. Food value for price was excellent. Total 25Β£. The cheapest we ate for the price. Highly recommended.. 14Β£ for 1kg chicken karahi. 5Β£ for chicken biryani plate. 1Β£ for 2 naans and 1Β£ coke. W Overall 5/5 for food and 1/5 for service. Took an hr to get food. Even though place wsnt busy. Plus the mention of cleanliness in other posts is quite true. But then this is a desi place and this is what you expect if you are at a typical desi place / adda Enjoy the food

Expect to be made to wait frustratingly long at this dingy, run-down looking place. But it's well worth the wait. This is the best karahi chicken and lamb I've had outside of Pakistan. Amazing.
