   Review: Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Service I called this pharmacy for the first time to inquire about the price and delivery frequency of my Tirosint medication. The person who answered the phone, Maria, immediately asked if I had a prescription. When I replied that I didn’t have it at the moment but was looking to get information before transferring my business, she abruptly told me to call back once I had a prescription and was ready to hang up. I was shocked by her dismissive tone and explained that she should be more polite to first-time callers who are trying to become potential customers. Instead of listening, she hung up on me mid-conversation. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting where courtesy and communication matter. I will be raising this incident with my doctor, Prof. Shotliff, and will not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Maria’s behavior was outrageous and far from what anyone should expect from a customer service representative. It’s disappointing to encounter such rudeness, particularly when dealing with something as important as medication.

   They were willing to dispense a prescription-only drug from an photo of the prescription not the original. This is actually illegal, as there would be nothing to stop me submitting the hard copy at another pharmacy and getting more than I was originally prescribed. and this made me very nervous, so I went somewhere else

   Terrible Experience with the Pharmacist! I had a prescription from a specialist for a specific medication. It was available at Cromwell Hospital, but I didn’t feel like driving there, so I tried Springfield Pharmacy instead. The pharmacist wrongly claimed that the medication was discontinued—which was completely untrue. When I questioned him, he threw the prescription at me and told me to go to another pharmacy! I have never been treated this way before. He is untrustworthy and could potentially give patients the wrong medication. Thankfully, I went to Richmond Pharmacy, where they ordered the medication for me, and I had it the next day. Avoid this place!

   Terrible service, rude staff. How many more bad reviews before they should be struck off? In this line of work you should not have ONE bad review, let alone the amount they have. I know 3 people who have all had issues with this pharmacy. AVOID!!!

   It takes ages to be served, no matter what time of the day you go. Their attitude sometimes is as if they are doing you a favour. Most of the times when picking up prescriptions they ask you to come back or keep waiting with no consideration.

   I seldom post reviews when I have had a bad experience but I feel absolutely compelled to review on this occasion. I really must echo the bad reviews on here. The attitude of the staff is positively nasty. I've put up with unprofessionalism and rudeness for some time now when attempting to use their services. I put it down to lack of training. However as I am very local I stuck with using them despite the general bad attitude. Unfortunately I've had to speak to the actual pharmacist over the last few days to try to seek advice on my prescription. It all made sense suddenly, this is where the staff get the attitude from. I've never come across such a rude, obnoxious and arrogant man in my life. Positively unhelpful and refused to assist me as I was not a privately paying patient apparently(?!) but had an NHS prescription. With it came total hostility and rebukes on me wasting his time! I have privately paid for vaccinations here on many occasions but your regular custom is worth nothing here! Avoid at all costs!! Would give no stars if it was possible.

   I was using this pharmacy because I lived a few doors away from it for over 20 years. The owner seemed nice & I felt I was dealing with someone who I developed an affinity over that time as well as him being local. When my doctor suggested delivery of my meds & being that l lived doors away & had been using them for two decades plus! caused such offence perhaps I should have known that my long standing custom/loyalty was worth nothing. In late January I moved & therefore had to change doctors however Springfield Pharmacy was still very local to me & thought that my long standing relationship with the pharmacy was worth keeping. For some reason the pharmacist did everything in their power to be rid of me. When I explained that I had been with them for so long & wanted to keep getting my prescriptions from them......I was met with a grimace & an almost hostile attitude. This is a local pharmacy not Boots or a large corporation. It was so disappointing to know that my custom & continued loyalty was for some reason not appreciated at all. I have spoken to other locals who have been with the pharmacy also for years & they too, on suggestion of delivered prescriptions were treated like pariahs! Now I regret ever giving them my custom at all. 22 years was worth "diddly squat" & I shall be going elsewhere with my prescriptions. I waited for over 25 mins for a pre- ordered prescription, it felt like this was purposeful! Such a pity because I really trusted the owner of the chemist, should have known better when my surgery voiced doubts about him. I shall go in future to where my custom & loyalty is valued
