I was served today by a lovely and very pretty girl from Dior, I believe her name was Yana. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I really wanted to this time. She was so kind and helpful.
Top of my old perfume spray got stuck & I couldn’t spray my perfume & had about 40mls still in bottle.. Took the bottle to Boots where I had purchased my perfume over a year ago I explained & showed a member of staff called Daria the problem & within 10 minutes had rectified the problem & was very helpful & now I can use my spray without any problem…. Wonderful helpful staff Thank you Boots ..
Went into Boots Kingston, I think it’s on Eden St. The service at the pharmacy was unprofessional. I felt the need of the customer was not handled with consideration and respect. I found the assistant to be abrupt, bordering on rude. It seems as if they are deliberately projecting that they are in charge of the situation and you as a customer can not do anything about it. This type of service is not found in any other country I have travelled to. Everywhere else the customer comes first and is treated with respect. It’s actually quite disheartening to see how some people in the service sector are so unkind, unprofessional and badly trained. Actually it falls down on the training they have been given or not in this case. The management obviously must also be pretty awful.
Hello! I bought an electric toothbrush from you on December 31, for £140 (it was a gift, sent to another country). It turned out that it had been used before, because there is no rubber band on the top. We opened it to see why it doesn't work. It turned out that when opening there is no spring from the bottom and the inner parts are all rusty, plus there are toothpaste residues, all parts were oxidised. The gift just reached the recipient in Kazakhstan. When unpacking, the screen didn't work, so we opened the brush itself to see what was going on. It turned out that the used product was sold to us still in a defective condition. It's a shame that it was a gift, the payment was made by card.
Well stocked large branch. I went in for medicines over the counter. Asked for what I wanted and got the impression she didn't really want to serve me - trying to get me to buy off the shelf. I wanted a bigger box than on shelf and she kept pointing to shelving behind her and asking what brand, when I clearly kept saying 24 Neurofen standard coated tablets!! Ended up buying a small pack off the shelf as couldn't be bothered to beg her to sell me a box of 24. Queues were long and ended up getting one of the makeup counters to put it through their till for me (lady on makeup counter was lovely).
Bought si eu de Parfum of Giorgio Armani today at about 12 o’clock (14.2.23). It was displayed that there was a free gift for the purchase. I went to pay and asked for the promotion. The Asian lady at that time was very dismissive saying that she was told they were over. I asked her then can you at least check cause it says there it’s available so if it’s not available why is that displayed as this is the reason why I am also buying the perfume. She made up stories and when asked to check she “found it”. Very bad custumer service and the lady was unapologetic saying she doesn’t know as she works for the cosmetics. Saying they are finished and once insisting and asking to check magically found. I should not have asked her many times as the information about the promotion was displayed for customer. I found it misleading as the lady asked me to pay before giving the gift that was displayed (gigantly). Please do not display “free gifts” when buying perfumes when these are not wanted to be given.
Went on a Sunday about an hour before closing time, wasn't too busy. The store has changed layout since I last went in so signage lacked in some aisles (eg. Feminine care/ menstrual products). Also a lot of the make up testers were missing and the stock had not been topped up.
Stocks pretty much all everyday essentials. There's also a pharmacy, vaccination centre, hearing care and an opticians on the 2nd floor - the pharmacy and vaccination service and knowledge is great. Haven't tried the opticians and hearing care so cannot comment on them.
This is the second time I have been disappointed with the service at this pharmacy. It's big, but the help isn't as timely and it seems understaffed. Maybe it's just after Christmas, obviously they are not very enthusiastic about their work, and they are not very willing to help me find what I am looking for. Just tell me the location and name and let me find it myself. In the event that I took the wrong one, they reluctantly led me to the correct shelf. Not friendly, slow to help, not patient.
