   Here for a swim meet this weekend. Beautiful building. Big & airy refreshments room. Main pool area great & lovely clean toilets. Downside is that the results board is on the small side, and, being slightly visually impaired I struggled to see the times. The board is also cleared very quickly. Also, yesterday in the top row of the spectators stand, the announcements were muffled. Today, lower down the tier, it was more understandable. I'd like to add that perhaps hand rails could be added to the stairs down to the seats, as it was hard work trying to keep my balance coming down them. Otherwise, a lovely greeting by staff and a pleasure to visit.

   Sauna and steam facility mostly used by older gents as some kind of bath house. Shaving should not be permitted in either space and is frankly disgusting and unhygienic!

   Joined for the gym and it's just not worth it that. It's by far the smallest gym I've ever been to, with the least amount of equipment. If you go at the usual busy time, your going to take so much longer waiting for stuff. I personally go at 6:30am and even then it's full, lots of kids and can still be a struggle to get equipment at that time. The studio for classes though is 4x the size and I've never seen it being used. The rooms need to be swapped. Then they need more that 1 squat rack, 2 benches, 1 of each bar. It's honestly painful. If your there for cardio or swimming, everything is fine in that regard. Most the cardio machines are empty wasting more space.

   Simply divine darlings! Lovely sheen over the banisters. Good to see where all the council tax money goes, you can see it clearly. Now! If only some of that sheen found its way to Leigh. A man can hope.

   Don't know why this place even has a phone number to call. Been trying to call since Friday morning to enquire about membership and to join. The fact noone has answered the phone now for 5 days has completely put me off joining. Enquiring else where now, if I can't even get though to join then what dose that tell of the level of service you would receive if you did join.

   Lovely swimming pool and wigan life centre team members. Very friendly staff at reception and at the pool. Neat and clean changing areas and showers. The only problem is lack of parking, otherwise I'd be going more often.

   Awesome place that caters for everyone, not only do they have council offices tucked away in there, there's a swimming pool and a kid's one for swimming lessons, a big gym with weights and CV equipment, you can book parties in some of the rooms and some mornings I drive past you can see spinning classes being conducted in their disco like essence.
