Always friendly staff, great food, must book for an evening though as can get busy. Day time usually ok to walk in
My recent visit to Thai Dragon was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, providing truly great customer service. As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing—each dish I tried was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients. I can't recommend this place enough if you're in the mood for an authentic and very tasty Thai meal.
Finally found a great place for Asian food in Wells, as we miss eating rice so much. We ordered crispy lemon chicken and red curry beef, coconut rice and fried rice. All dishes are in the right portion, very delicious, will definitely come back again.
It's a great Thai restaurant. Serves the most amazing Thai food and they have a massive selection available. You're greeted nicely at the door and moved swiftly to order. If we want Thai then this is where we will go. They gave a free Bailey's at the end with a rose for valentine's which was a super special touch. Would highly recommend eating here. They also do take out if you don't wish to done in.
Food nice. Staff unprofessional. We went in during the lunchtime opening hours. Ordered our mains. They came out promptly. When it was bought to our table the waiter was un professional picking up our drinks and moving them instead of politely asking us to move them to make room for the food! When we had finished our mains my partner wanted a desert. When we asked for the menu the member of staff said abruptly that they were closing in 7 minutes and refused to take the order! We still had almost full drinks. They then started to pace up and down the restaurant asif to tell us to hurry up. I'm sorry but the food isn't cheap and we had paid our bill so we wasn't going to rush! At 10 minutes after closing the doors the waiter then verbally told us they were closed. Do not open from 12 - 2pm and rush your customers
Starter portions and sticky rice were quite sad. Price is particularly high for the starters e.g. £2 per battered prawn. Food however tasted nice and I imagine if you were to dine at the restaurant it might be better served.
It is one of the few places in Wells that is actually open on a Monday night. A friendly welcome, comfortable seating with unusual and intricate wood carvings. The meal was what you hoped it would be, lots of interesting tates and flavours. Would definitely go there again
Disappointed. Take away ordered and once back at the hotel, found a long black hair mixed in with one of the rice dishes. Let it off and tried to ignore the extra ingredient as we were all starving having been out all day on a family trip to Wookey Hole Caves. But to find yet another black hair in the Thai green curry was too much. Food was taken back as was not happy to for myself or my family to consume, questioning the hygiene standards that Thai Dragon were following. Eventually got a refund, and a bottle of beer as compensation. No real empathy or apologies from the staff at the concerning issues I had experienced. **Wouldn't recommend to anyone**
Nice place. Well attended. We may have picked the wrong dishes on the menu, who knows. I'd rather not put the downers on the place because we where looked after well. Try it - it maybe just what you're looking for.
