   We are looking at kitchens as part of a house renovation. This branch is very small because the business is pitched at trade customers, not retail. However, the displays that were there were fine, and the gentleman who helped us was very polite and knowledgeable.

   Says opening times are 730am - 5pm and there are still closed at 740 no cars in the car park, this howdens isn’t my local as I’m out on the job but very disappointed.

   I've used a couple of howdens but for me Gorgie is the worst, I get my prices online and when I go in and order something they try and charge you full price everytime! My account is based there but will be moving..the big guy with facial hair on the front desk his attitude stinks.

   Very poor service. Depot does not reply to emails. Claim to have no record of kitchen plan even though I can still see the plan online using the link the depot sent me.

   A small kitchen showroom staffed by very knowledgeable people for whom "nothing was too much trouble". It's trade only so no prices are available - they have to come through your friendly kitchen fitter. A design service is available by appointment. Not quite the extensive range of your local B&Q but made up for by lots of samples, colour catalogues and of course the staff.
