Be very careful of the plants you buy here. I bought 5 marguerites and every one of them died within about a week. Pretty cheeky reaction from manager of gardening bit, who said no-one else had complained. Probably because people can't be bothered bringing back one plant that cost £2.99. They were obviously diseased, as there was some kind of fungus on the bud. The store reduced them to half price a week after I bought mine. Says it all really.

A joke of a DIY shop. Just plastic toys, plastic plants and pet food and a whole lot of rubbish no-one needs. The actual DIY stuff that could be useful in a DIY shop is non existent. Pfui!

The five star rating is specifically for a staff member at the Craigleith branch called Mark who went out of his way to help me find a tv stand I was looking for today. Even though the branch is closing, I hope he reads this so he knows just how much his efforts were appreciated!

Went in to buy garden furniture WOW, have to say the customer service was that bad it was funny. Went in on Sunday around 4 went to customer service as found a garden set, asked how much delivery was and when could we expect delivery. Her response " delivery is very expensive, so you should go online and check" I smiled and asked how expensive is expensive? She replied "I don't know, go online is best for you " pmsl we left a tad bewildered. We did check online and I er £100 spend is free delivery, however with this level of service we will go to dobbies.

In my opinion, Homebase in Edinburgh Craigleith is a decent place to shop for home improvement and decor items. The store seems to have a wide variety of products available, including items from kitchen and Bathstore. The prices seemed to be reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a positive experience shopping at Homebase in Edinburgh Craigleith and would recommend it to others.

Bought a Christmas tree with my mum, lovely service lovely staff but the guy said he would saw the bottom of the tree because it had a huge bit on it. Unfortunately he didn’t, we didn’t notice and took the tree home and put it in the holder and the whole tree collapsed and broke some of our Christmas ornaments :( £50 tree and we are having to saw the bottom off ourselves. Not happy with the tree at all :(

A very large store, with lots of bargains, i do enjoy browsing without sales people breathing down your neck. Note to all stores. If customers need help we will ask for it.
