I used to use this pharmacy for my repeat prescriptions but switched around 6 months ago because they kept getting my medication wrong and issuing the wrong dosage. This happened 4 times! No apology - they just pleaded they were overworked, as if that was my fault. Anyway, my husband did not switch pharmacy and I picked up a repeat prescription there for him yesterday. When he got home last night and opened the bag, he asked where his inhaler was. Turns out the pharmacy only issued 2 of the 3 medications ordered. They didnβt mention this when I collected the prescription, nor did they give me the prescription to get it elsewhere. Iβve tried ringing them this morning but they arenβt answering their phone. This pharmacy is actually endangering the health of its clients and needs to be investigated

Well pharmacy has been served the local community for a very long time and still delivering the same level of service as in the past. Well done to everyone keeping our local chemist for our local people.

I was very disappointed with the way I was treated here. When I enquired about the NHS contraceptive service, I was incorrectly spoken to as if I was asking for the morning after pill. These are two completely different things, both in use and in pharmacology: Contraceptive tablets (the combined or progestogen-only pill) are taken daily to prevent pregnancy by suppressing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus, and thinning the endometrium. They provide long-term contraception but are also widely prescribed for other medical reasons, such as regulating periods, managing painful cycles, treating acne, or helping with endometriosis. The morning after pill/EHC (emergency contraception, e.g., levonorgestrel or ulipristal acetate) is taken after unprotected sex. Its purpose is to delay or prevent ovulation in that single cycle, not to provide ongoing protection. It is a short-term emergency measure, not a regular contraceptive method. If I had wanted the morning after pill, I would have asked for it directly β instead, I specifically asked about the NHS contraceptive service, which is entirely different. I phoned in advance simply to check if the service was available so I wouldnβt waste a journey. This was mistaken as me phoning out of urgency, which was not the case. And to be clear, I am not writing this out of embarrassment β Iβm 25 and perfectly comfortable discussing contraception. I am writing because the staff should understand these basic differences, recognise that contraception can be prescribed for many valid health reasons beyond pregnancy, and most importantly, believe patients when they state what they are asking for. If you donβt have the service thatβs completely fine

I have not experienced any bad service as mentioned in other reviews. My prescription is always there 2 working days after issue and I always get a text confirming it is ready to collect. Staff pleasant (unless you donβt get what you want Iβm guessing!)

WELL Pharmacy at 66 Silver Street, Enfield is the MOST RELIABLE Pharmacy. They're Reliable and they do deliver one's Rx. If they don't have a specific med that's been ordered for a patient, WELL PHARMACY will order it and it will arrive the next day or the following day. I highly recommend WELL Pharmacy. WELL Pharmacy is right next door to Abernethy House GP surgery.

Awful pharmacy as the other 1 star rating have echoed. In my case my mother has been a regular customer at Wells but since the last pharmacist Rameen left itβs been a catalogue of errors. As much as we have tried to help them out by collecting prescriptions directly from the surgery and ordering the prescriptions well in advance they still cannot put 2 and 2 together and get it right. Month after month itβs the same thing and they always owe medication (the medication has remained the same and not changed so unclear as to why this is so difficult to comprehend). They pose a health risk and wouldnβt surprise me that a disaster will happen soon where someone will lose their life because they have not given the meds on time. Each time they blame the surgery but the doctors record each time a prescription is issuedβ¦ but the staff at the pharmacy still blame the surgery! Unbelievable incompetence!

Both myself and my husband have used this pharmacy for years and appreciate the service we have received - there have been the occasional issues over the years but considering the amount of pressure the pharmacy and pharmacist are under these things happen. When people are unwell and in pain it must be very difficult to always say and do the right things as people are already vunerable but what must be realised is that they are dealing with people pharmacists are not robots and if under stress then may sound short and abrupt, not meaning to, so rather than get upset try and be calm give them another chance be friendly and I think you will find them understanding

This pharmacy is a haven of efficiency and tranquillity. I have been coming here for months after experiencing very long queues and problems at other pharmacies in the local area but this one is like a different world. Unlike other places, there has never been a queue, the medicine has always been correct and ready for collection, and they can always find it on the shelf in seconds. The first time I put in a prescription, I received a courteous and welcoming phone call as well. Even though this pharmacy is further for me to go, it is worth it. I donβt know what they are doing differently behind the scenes but I wish all pharmacies were like this one. Highly recommended.

PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFTEY BEWARE Put a prescription in over two weeks ago . They cannot read it was wrong items when I went back.. gone a week later again and they have not be bothered to order the items yet again. The pharmacist then wants to give me size that's far to big. He then makes this out to be my problem they are rude and unfit to be in control of people's medicine this place needs to be reported that I am in process of doing this is highly dangerous to public health. Well chemist don't give a dame
