   We visited the showroom as serious potential customers, genuinely interested in a new kitchen. Yet, when we walked in, no one acknowledged us. We browsed the displays which looked fine but on our way out we approached a female staff member with some questions. Her responses were curt, and literally one-word answers, leaving us confused and uncertain whether she was disinterested, on commission or not, or simply finishing her last day. The lack of engagement pushed us to leave, and we chose to take our business elsewhere without hesitation.

   We visited the showroom for a scheduled appointment and spent over three hours carefully going through every detail of our kitchen design. We were promised an initial layout within two days. A week went by with no update, despite two follow-up calls and two emails. I finally received a reply saying the design would arrive in another two days—yet two weeks later, we still haven’t received anything. Not sure what to make of this experience, but so far, it feels like a complete waste of time.

   After a home visit/measurement I was promised a drawing and proposal within the week. 2 weeks passed and I heard nothing, so I contacted the branch's general email. A week later I received a phone call from the sales person apologising that she sent the proposal to the wrong email address... After which I wanted to arrange a meeting to chat through said proposal, sales person proposed a date and after I wanted to confirm a time never heard back. I assume they don't want/need my business.

   Parked in the EMPTY car park of Magnet Corstorphine with my daughter and grandson. She wanted to have a quick look at kitchens but decided not to after being confronted by a very aggressive employee asking us what we were doing parking in HIS car park. We didn't get the chance to tell him we were popping across the road for 2 mins before heading back over to the showroom....he became very aggressive and abusive towards my daughter.. well done mate intimidating 2 woman and a baby in the middle of the street. I was so shaken I got in my car and took it elsewhere, leaving my daughter and grandson in the street. This so called manager of Magnet Corstorphine should be 100% ashamed of himself!!! Best thing was..car park was empty!!!!!

   Can only comment on experience in showroom. Entered to absolutely no greeting, however brief or even just acknowledgment from staff - one of whom was free. I felt like Bruce Willis in Sixth Sense, managing to walk the whole way round with my with wife chatting the whole time but not engaged by anyone as if I were a ghost. Due to this we were unsure if we could properly open cupboards and look at the kitchens in any detail which was the purpose of the trip. More worrying was what looked like a smear of blood on a wall next to one of the displays (with a smaller mark below), this was definitely not just a pen mark or scuff. Even if it wasn't what it looked like, in this current climate it was of concern. Safe to say we were in no way made to feel like we want to pursue enquiries with them.

   Magnet sent a bunch of cowboys to do the installation and then wiped their hands of the situation. Cabinets were nice, and installation was passable, but the finer details were botched. After-sales service from magnet was non-existent. And it wasn't cheap either! Avoid magnet like the plague.
