I attend a weekly baby class here and was planning on staying for cake and coffee afterwards today. I was told to leave my pram outside as there was no room (even though cafe was empty). The owner told me she would come and let me know if it started to rain. I finished my class and my daughter was due a nap so went to get her pram to find it outside absolutely sodden. I understand there is limited room in the cafe but there were barely any customers when I finished the class and plenty room for the pram. I had to then leave as I couldn’t put my baby in the soaking pram, push the pram while carrying her all the way to the car and come home. I’ve had to change my plans for the day now as have no pram until I can get it to dry. Really unfortunate as I liked this cafe, but I won’t be back now. For offering baby classes, it should really be more baby friendly.

I discovered this café by coincidence on Google Maps. The photos looked great, so we decided to visit — and it didn’t disappoint! It’s definitely one of the nicest coffee shops in the area. The staff were lovely, the scone and jam were delicious, the coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was amazing.

Was looking for a new coffee spot in the area. Had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, won’t rush back. I chose to sit inside as there were families with very small (crying) babies outside and I was hoping to read/do some work so figured inside would be more chill. The person behind the counter knew I’d arrived at the til but didn’t say hello or acknowledge me at all until I said hi. It’s described as idyllic…slightly inaccurate. For most of my visit there was loud music inside the shop. It did eventually switch to more calming music. There does appear to be a dance studio attached so perhaps this explains some of the loud vibe. On the plus side, the cappuccino was a good size, although standard taste. The Empire Biscuit could have been shop bought from a multi pack. Won’t be a returning customer sadly.

Went for a cuppa and a cake with friend. There is ample free parking, big grass area for dogs to run around. I had a hot chocolate and fruit flapjack, friend had latte and a milky bar tray bake which looked really good. The flapjack was amazing!! They do bacon rolls, cakes and scones. Hot and soft drinks. Atmosphere is lovely, very calm and in a suntrap when it's out. Definitely recommend

Ordered two flat whites, they were ready in under a minute so we’re definitely made out of the same shot of coffee for both flat whites. The milk was far too hot too. Not a good coffee at all if you like nice coffee.

Lovely staff and outside space. Coffee not the best and mainly brownies as cake, could do with more variety. Only savory is soup - again more variety- perhaps even just rolls with basic filings eg bacon, half and cheese etc. The millionaire shortbread was amazing.
