Great variety of homeware and clothes reasonable prices. On the downside, ladies fashion is a little dated to say the least. Much better for men.
Visited here today (my second visit to this store) and I have to compliment the staff on always being friendly and attentive. You can have a bit of a chat with them too. Always felt the TJ Hughes business is underrated for quality bargains at low prices. Will definitely be back.
With the current covid situation and hand sanitising of importance I asked the manager if there could be sanitiser placed at the car park entrance to the store. I was told that the car park door is an exit door and the door into the shopping mall was the entrance so therefore it was only required at that door. This defies logic as countless numbers enter through the car park door. I can't imagine why it's a problem to have it at both doors!
Purchased a 7ft Christmas Tree for £100 and when I got it home it was a selection of Christmas Tree parts from various different trees. Also, not one of these parts were actually the tree pictured on the box. Unacceptable for this to happen and certainly demonstrates laziness and poor stock checking. Was given a full refund but still unacceptable that this was allowed to happen. We were looking forward to putting the tree up with our son and really liked the one pictured on the box which was out of stock apparently (so they decided to make their own from left over parts of other trees). 1 star!
