This pub is honestly the greatest there ever has been in tranent, the staff are kind, and the atmosphere is perfect, only had to wait a few minutes for chicken nuggets and chips with baked beans.

If you’re a bunch of Welsh lads visiting Tranent and want to test your liver, your accent, and your dignity — Whispers is the place. Friendly folk, strong pints, and an atmosphere that makes you forget you’ve lost your hotel key. Would give it 6 stars if my phone could focus properly.
Went in for lunch today!! Absolutely fantastic food with proper homemade chips! Excellent value! Will definitely return!

Trendy young crowd but the well behaved ones. I felt like that old man you get in local pubs that has his on tankard behind the bar and reads the racing papers and I'm 38.
