Sitting here absolutely Fkn astounded at this sh1t hole of a place. Bar staff who are anything but friendly, talking and bitching about customers, even to the degree they took the P out of someone who was clearly disabled. I'm actually astounded at the Gaul of them. Shit this place down immediately, or get new staff.
Great bar, beautiful decor, acoustics on jukebox needs improvement, altogether a good bar
Best pub in leith, cheap drink and a charming old building
Not a good experience to be honest. Found that the staff were incredibly rude from the get go, and just wanted to get us out the door. I understand that certain stressors come with the job, but that should not be taken out on the customers. Instead of just saying they were closing soon, we were rudely told to "drink faster". I can promise I won't be visiting again.
Just a fantastic bar with respectable prices. Always has been to be honest.

Get in there! Good old manny pub full of character/characters. Leave your craft beer hopes at the door, have a Guinness.
What a fantastic place .. old fashion but fantastic atmosphere..staff friendly and locals made you feel welcome.... definitely returning to this bar

In San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Baltimore. The Central Bar is the ultimate bar. Go there once in your life. Karaoke is on Sundays
