I’ve eaten here 3 times in a few months and each time has been amazing. Freshly cooked and incredibly tasty food (highly recommend the Cajun chicken), small but varied menu with different specials every day, fantastic service, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. You can choose to eat in the dining area, bar area or outside during the warmer months. The sofas are comfy in the bar area, quiz nights are an absolute hoot! I’ll definitely be back time and time again.

Now visited this gastro pub a few times. The experience is consistently good. If you like your pub experience to be chilled out, friendly and with approachable, smiling staff and good food this place is a winner. If you're passing through this area and wondering where you can stop off and be well looked after, you can't go wrong with a place like this. You'll leave feeling better than you did when you went in. They are kid and dog friendly and they can make them something called a puppacino if you ask (for the dogs that is). There is free parking on the road that the pub is on too. Final thing, my other half won't stop raving about the macaroni cheese at this pub. Probably worth giving it a bash!

Popped in tonight for an impromptu dinner. me and the hubby both had the curry special - chicken jalfrezi. It was delicious, not expecting it to be that good for pub food. 2 for £20 and the curry included rice, nan and poppadoms with mango chutney. absolutely stuffed best £20 spent in a long time! warm and inviting atmosphere making you very relaxed, thank you for a great meal

Good portion sizes, made to order, tasty. Great service, Lovely staff and spacious. Never had a disappointing meal yet.

Perhaps the best kept secret in Uphall. We’ve lived in the area since 2014 but have never made it in to enjoy a lunch here. Generous portions, lovingly handmade food and excellent service. We will be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I went for an organised veterans Xmas lunch and, even though I live a 10 minute drive away, would never have considered going in previously. However, it was EXCELLENT! Food is brilliant, the place is well looked after and the staff are great. I'll definitely go back again for lunch now!

Went with a group for a Christmas meal together. I would highly recommend. Our food was served at the same time.. everyone enjoyed their choice. The staff were helpful and friendly. The Christmas decorations made the place very cosy and atmospheric. Enjoyed sitting in the large sofas beside the fireplace after our meal.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere, friendly helpful staff great coffee I would definitely recommend this pub/ bistro for ether coffee, hot chocolate, tea and a cake. They do meals also unfortunately we didn't sample the food on this occasion next time I will definitely try the food. Tables are available inside and outside, the tables are bookable in advance. There is also a fully stocked bar serving beers wines and spirits. On street parking.
