Great local pub worth a visit

Didn't have food but sure it would have been lovely

I played a gig here last Sunday and the atmosphere was brilliant. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. If you're ever in the area, go in for a drink!

High time they got rid of old staff who clearly don’t want to be there. If serving customers is too much for a barmaid perhaps she’d be better off staying at home. Never in my life have I come across a barmaid who can’t stand noise nor is incapable of serving a queue of 4/5 people in succession. Not sure of her name (middle aged, dark hair) but she’s letting this place down. I don’t go out and pay for the privilege to have someone be less than pleasant. A real shame as otherwise a great little pub with fantastic facilities & friendly regulars. Won’t be back any time soon.

The Murray is the only pub in Polbeth. It's a decent basic drinking hole with a decent atmosphere when there's music on. The owners have smartened up the decor somewhat since they took over and it's good to have a local boozer again.
