Booking made for food and drinks for five people for Hogmanay on 3 December. Received email on 30 December checking that we would still be attending which was confirmed. Arrived to be told that the kitchen was closed - no explanation given. There was no one in the place - says it all. The Balencrieff next door were thankfully able to accommodate us. Give Urban Cocktail Kitchen a miss - I won't be back. Update: A polite but factual comment I made on their FB post about them being closed until 10 January due to 'unforseen circumstances' was removed twice then I was blocked! Way to run a business...
As you can see I put up feedback and the owner deleted it because it wasn't what they liked. The owner Andrew Ferguson is as dodgy as they come, probably dodging tax and I am in the middle of contacting Acas. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
Was in here tonight and the service is a disgrace. Staff members not knowing what they are doing and the bar staff being abrupt and ignorant to the point I was about to say to them about it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!
waited an hour for one drink, awful service and staff very unfriendly, will not be back. if anyone if looking for somewhere to go in bathgate i would recommend 1912 but would rather stay home than come here again
Great night with lovely food and drink. Frozen cocktails were so nice
No low alcohol beer, pumps not working so nothing on draft, ran out of house wine, coffee machine not working, could not serve full table with food at once. Terrible. Poor management. Staff working their socks off.
