Given a very warm welcome when we first arrived. Booking confirmed and showed a table immediately. Drinks brought quickly. Food was excellent. Steak perfectly cooked. Service excellent. Great value especially with the 40% discount. Thank you.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was nice and a good amount for value. The grandkids liked the play area inside and the toys to buy.
Every time I've visited the Rowan Tree Armadale the staff have all been lovely, always asking if there's anything else we need. I try something different each time & have never been disappointed. The food has always been hot & freshly cooked. Last night was no exception both my friend's & my steaks were cooked to perfection & look forward to our next visit! Keep up the great work & thank you for a lovely meal!
Lovely warm atmosphere, country style pub with nice food. We had amazing customer service from our hostess Robin and I can’t comment enough on how helpful, attentive and nice she was. My only slight issue would be the wait we had for our food to arrive. But would definitely return
The service was excellent. My grandson turned 18 and it was mentioned while ordering our food. He has Down Syndrome and was very excited to be out on a 'dinner date' with me. The food was excellent. There was live music which we hadn't expected which was also excellent. The waitress brought my grandson's dessert with a candle in it, which brought attention from the singer who then mentioned his name and wished him happy birthday. It was lovely. Not rowdy or loud, just a perfect night. We will be back for sure.
Lovely wee pub and restaurant. Booked a table in advance as wasn't sure how busy it would be midweek. We were greeted warmly and led straight to our table. We ended up asking to be moved to a new table due to the sun streaming in from the window, which was no trouble at all and we were moved immediately. Interior is spacious and open but also cozy. Only a short wait for the food which was delicious. I had the chicken burger with chips and a side salad. Food was piping hot, fresh and tasty. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The chicken burger was full of flavour. Only nitpick would be I'd have liked a dressing on the side salad. For dessert I had the chocolate orange sponge which was absolutely incredible. Sponge was light as air, filled with a sweet and sticky orange centre, smothered in chocolate and served warm with custard. Honestly one of THE BEST desserts I have ever eaten. All for a very reasonable price including drinks. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
Nice big family pub, with plenty of parking. Dog friendly. Nice clean and tidy. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Food was nice, with good sized portions, all reasonable priced.
I take one star for a Steak...it wasn't perfectly cooked. Asked for medium I got it well done
Went last Monday night for a family meal we were a table of 10, staff very friendly & welcoming! Staff were also very attentive whether to check if we needed drinks or to just ask if everything was ok! Everyone enjoyed the meal & all 10 of us had something different to eat! The Rowan tree has a nice menu & not that expensive
