   Great local pub. Felt very welcomed by the regulars and staff. It's a cosy place with lots of local real ales and also stocks Timothy Taylor Landlord, a real favorite. But I was introduced to Cromarty brewing and Orkney Brewery here.

   Nice wee pub but too small, too crowded, limited choice of beers. If you like karaoke and having to move tables to stand up then this would be right up your street. It was a bit too crammed for my taste, mind you, the pints of Madri went down well and the karaoke lady was talented and pretty.

   Great beer pub with really friendly landlord and locals. Perfect for an evening drink with a log fire. Very dog friendly and some great Royal Navy memorabilia. Good cask ale from Cromarty Brewery Co. kept really well.

   Beautiful well-run, traditional pub with polished wood interior. The drinks are reasonably priced and the service is great. The locals are super friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated the spacious TV room at the back of the establishment so that big screens did not interfere with the old time charm of the bar. The outside garden is absolutely delightful with flower pots and blooms adding cheerful ambiance. The only critique is that the view from the back is spectacular yet it is completely obscured by a wooden fence...what a shame. The fence could have been wrought iron, glass or horizontal tensioned wires to preserves this appealing Constablesque vista. The large posters in front and back were just a little obnoxious and detracted from the atmosphere of an otherwise outstanding local pub. Love the fact that the establishment welcomes dogs as well as humans.
