This was a disappointment. Walked in on a Monday night for the place to fell cold. I ordered the mix grill. What came out looked like it was cooked 5 days ago. Sausage and chicken both over cooked. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium, it was just cooked and no more. No charring to say that it had seen a grill. It was like everything had been frozen and then reheated in a microwave. Won't be back.

Had a fantastic visit here with friends. We went in for lunch and were told about the new which had just started the previous day. We took the koftas based on recommendation from the member of staff and really enjoyed them. Good service from friendly staff. Noticed an advertisement for a quiz on a Thursday so will need to go back for that soon. Keep up the good work

I visited The Compass on the outskirts of Dalgety Bay for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, the service was attentive and welcoming. The venue itself is spotlessly clean with a lovely ambience — calm, relaxed, and with background music set perfectly for a lunchtime setting. I ordered the Salmon and Vintage Cheddar Fish Cakes with Hollandaise Sauce, and they were superb — full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. I also had two cups of their freshly ground coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the depth and quality of the flavour — a rich, earthy taste that really stood out. Nice touches like being dog-friendly, clearly marked daily specials, and an inviting interior layout make this place well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back.

Came in for dinner the other night, had an absolutely wonderful time. The service was exceptional as usual, the food was delicious and served very quickly. I had a steak and my partner had the steak pie. Both were excellent. The staff went out of their way to make our evening wonderful. They really made such an effort. Will most definitely be back soon! Cheers guys

Tried this for the first time today. This is in essence a pub, and not expensive. As such, I found the food excellent. My salmon with prawns and a salad was delicious and wholesome. The skin-on chips, and also my husband's chips without skin, were really tasty and fresh. My husband enjoyed his hunter's chicken. We will be back.

Great pub! Lovely bar staff and management take time to say hello and check in with everyone. Food and drinks are very reasonable priced too. Best place to go in Dalgety Bay if you're new to the place. You'll definitely receive a warm welcome.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Food quality matches the price. Stayed at the Bay and Bridge and this was a nice walk to have a pint and some food.
