   We stopped here for some lunch, it was busy, but we got a table very quickly, there is outdoor seating, the seating arrangement inside weren't squeezed together so u didn't feel cramped, plenty of space to move your chair back to leave the table you don't hit other people The restaurant is traditionally decorated inside, it evokes a feeling of comfort and cosyness inside, helped by friendly welcoming staff, our food was delicious, hot and fresh, and arrived on our table in around 10 minutes despite it being very busy, the portion sizes were generous, we ordered steak pie and fish and chips, both dishes were really tasty We can highly recommend a visit to this restaurant Plus the added bonus of it being pet friendly, they have a bowl of water and some dog treats, which, as a dog owner, its those small gestures that we appreciated as our dog is an important family member and in this restaurant they welcome pets as a customer as well

   TRADITIONAL AND PLEASANT ‘A warm and welcoming public house’ reads their introduction... and it's absolutely true. Everything about this pub is characteristic and inviting: from the building that houses it, to the rooms where you can eat or drink, to the fact that it is frequented by locals (and we love getting to know them :-D). What's more, you can enjoy the sea view from both rooms, as well as from the large outdoor area! We ate: Whole Tail Deep Fried Scampi and Home Made Beef Burger. Fair, but the food here isn't the best part of the experience ;-)

   Lovely little pub in Limekilns. Note the kitchen was only open from 5-7:30. Nice cask ale and excellent tatties, neeps, and haggis with a pepper sauce.

   Excellent wee pub. Experience absolutely enhanced by outside seating in glorious weather. Great beer choices. Had a terrific toasties and fries from light bites menu. Highly recommend.

   Visited on a busy Saturday night. Got a table for 4 easily as many of regulars stand and were very friendly. 3 craft ales with usual lagers or keg beer. Service was friendly and quick. Good place to go for a pint

   A rare treat, to find a traditional pub, with top notch food, which isn't part of a generic chain. Stopped for a family lunch with 3 x steak pie enthusiasts and I can say it was absolutely fantastic. Loved the slightly haphazard presentation (gravy slightly off the plate!) as it was all about the flavour. One of the best I've ever had. Was around a tenner, great value, and the kids burger my 8 year old had was about £6 or so, real brioche bun, well toasted, real cheese melted on (not some cheese single). Just so refreshing to see somewhere that's still doing things properly. Thanks for a great lunch!
