   I have wanted a pair of Docs for 40 years. So this week on a day trip to Glasgow with my English relatives so show them the sights I thought I would have a look in the Dr Martens shop. I wanted a pair of Chelsea boots but with my high instep I struggled to get them on. The sales assistant was fantastic, she gotme lots of different styles to try and suggested I went up a size and got me larger boots. These fitted great and so comfy. My husband bought these for my Christmas to save him looking for a gift for me. I'm excited for Christmas to get these boots on my feet. Thanks again to the lovely sales lady, plenty of patience and great help. I will get some bright tartan laces next.

   Customer service was great in the store! However, I’ve had the boots less than a year and have had the sole and the welt(?) come off TWICE now. I got the left shoe fixed and now the right is doing the same thing. I only wear them once a week and feel like for £170 the quality should be MUCH better than this.

   Shannon is an angel sent from heaven. Back in May I bought a pair of Mary Jane style shoes, and for some reason I was feeling *skinny* that day and went down a half size. In the words of Julia Roberts: "BIG MISTAKE". I tried and tried to break them in but my poor feet were having a very bad time. I had almost resigned myself to selling them on at a loss when I decided in a last ditch effort to pop in store and see if there was some sort of fancy sock or balm that could solve my problem. Enter Shannon (imagine her descending from the heavens surrounded by an ethereal glow). She imparted her wisdom on me, you can remove the insoles and it makes the shoes bigger!! Mind blown. I went home and did just that. Yesterday I wore the shoes all day in complete comfort. My prayers were answered. I hope all of Shannon's dreams come true. Thank you Shannon.

   I had amazing customer service this week. My doc wouldn’t zip up. The zip is faulty. I just wanted advice how to fix it but was given the choice to exchange for a new pair if I had proof of purchase(which I did) The customer service was soooo personal and even showed me how to lace my boots to make them tighter on my feet. You can really see how great the whole team are at this store. Thank so much I will be back.

   I really wanted a DM sandals and when I got to the store I was assisted by Taren(?) who is a lovely lady with light pink short hair. She’s super friendly and very patient in accommodating all of my requests. I tried on so many different types and sizes and she’s really patient with it. Definitely would go back and buy the boots there too ☺️
