Absolute disgrace of a pub. Flat beers. The rudest owner of a pub I’ve ever comes across. She not only serves FLAT pints but has the attitudes as if she rules the world. Horrible woman.AWFUL PUB AVIOID
Best local bar in town. If you want to meet the best people this is the place. We are from the United States and stumbled upon this place. The staff is beyond amazing! The locals welcomed us with open arms.

Called in after the rugby on Sunday 24th November...What a fabulous find, on the way back to Haymarket Station! Comfortable seating, terrific atmosphere, and really friendly and attentive bar staff. Good selection of beers and spirits too, along with a well-stocked Juke Box. My family and I all agree, this will become a regular haunt when we're over in Edinburgh. Thanks to everyone at the pub.

Cheap drink for Edinburgh so from that respect it's great. However it is very much a locals pub with limited atmosphere and as other have stated a deep clean and a renovation is badly needed. Looks like they kept the furniture and fixings they had in the previous establishment that my father was in some thirty years ago.
