Great traditional pub with local characters a plenty. It's actually where I had my first ever pint (illegally) and I'm now 66!! Hasn't changed much! Loved it!
Great local pub, dog friendly, great range of single malts and beers. Beer garden great in the summer and you can order pizza from next door. Friendly staff and friendly locals too. Definite 5 stars.
Visiting late Saturday afternoon for a quick pint, this is a smallish trad pub with a very nice dark wooden bar on 1 side about 2/3rd of the length of the room, with a good selection of real ales. There were about 10 customers in the bar and possibly 20 in the patio style beer garden out front. Staff were courteous efficient and friendly.
Great to have a proper straightforward pub in Morningside. Super range of beers, and the mix-and-match beer and whisky deal is outstanding. Efficient bar staff who keep the atmosphere welcoming.
One of my fav pubs in Edinburgh and one I frequent regularly. The staff are all friendly and on the ball. Proper proper pub with good beer , wine and spirit selection. Always a good time. Claire the owner runs a smooth operation.

Good 5 or 6 Real Ales constantly changing, available at reasonable prices. House Ale is astonishingly cheap and also very good. Friendly staff and locals - what more do you need ?
Great traditional pub with a fantastic choice of ales and spirits. Malt whiskies, gins vodkas 12 draught beers plus lots of bottled beers.
