   In general PRYZM functions as a nightclub but it also moonlights as a venue for the Banquet Records label which is based just around the corner. This is a great idea as it enables us punters to see some great bands in an intimate venue at a reasonable price. So we ventured down to Kingston to see James play a short set based on their new album. It was a bit of a hike and we arrived a few minutes late. Luckily security were efficient, as was the bar, and we managed to catch the opening chords. Unfortunately our tardiness meant that we couldn't get downstairs to the main action and all of the different viewing levels upstairs were several people deep. Still we eventually found a spot and the sound was good enough for us to enjoy the show. All in all then a fun event with enough time left to enjoy the rest of Kingston.

   Went to see Soft Play, hosted by Banquet Records, at this venue last night. Great venue and great gig. But one of the things that impressed me so much were the security staff. One guy was helping people out of the mosh pit, cradling them like babies, with the biggest smile on his face. Because of security staff like that we can feel safer on a raucous night out. Big up the security!!

   Pryzm was a great place for attending a concert! I really appreciated how the room had various different levels to it allowing for easy viewing across the room The stage was a little low which could make it difficult for some people. The decoration in the room was beautiful and I loved the light feature as the centre point! It is located very close to Kingston train station which makes it super useful for commuting to and from central London!

   My daughter visited the club for the first time last weekend. She had an amazing time and I was beyond impressed with the policies they have in place to ensure the welfare of vulnerable girls. They absolutely look out for their patrons; their welfare and safety. It is nice to know as a parent that these clubs have protective policies in place. I wish all clubs did and I commend them for all they do. Truly remarkable!

   First time in the venue for Dermot Kennedy gig 3/11. Have to say it was a great experience. Amazing small venue, great views from the balcony. Friendly polite staff, one of our party was in a power assisted chair, door staff saw us straight in, special mention for Colleen who was an absolute star making sure we could get up and down in the lift etc. Will definitely be coming up again.

   Absolutely amazing venue. Has loads of bands on very regularly. Very helpful to disabled visitors. Quick service at the bars. Security always helpful and alert.

   A great venue for live music. Lots of different places and levels to see the stage from and 3 bars in the main room. Great location, trains, car parks and pubs nearby. The only downside being the ridiculous bar prices, £6 for a small can of beer/cider.

   I visited this venue for the first time yesterday. The queue was well organised, the staff were polite and friendly. Our bags were checked before entry, the bar was closed 10 minutes before the performance to ensure quiet during the performance. We were well informed of the order of the evening. I watched my favourite pianist Ludovico Einaudi play. I was very fortunate to be right at the front, just behind the stage bar. It was a fantastic experience. Sound quality was on point. Admittedly the stage looked a little shabby, could do with some attention, but definitely one of the best experiences ever.

   Not the best venue for live music as it's hard to see on stage unless you are 7' tall. The Specials were great, though. Cheap entry but wow we're the drinks expensive. Staff and security were great.
