Came for a drink on Saturday night, the bartenders were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and had great banter, so good there are actual personalities behind the bar and no robots! We will definitely be coming back

The best pub and restaurant in Clapham. Love the atmosphere. The front and back room are so different it allows you to pick the experience you want. Darker and traditional pub style at the front with the bar and bright and airy back room with glass ceiling. Food is always great and staff friendly. Great wine choice too.

We recently held a large event at The Bolingbroke Pub, and from start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The manager was exceptional throughout the pre-booking process—helpful, organised, and incredibly accommodating when it came to arranging the menu and meeting our group’s specific needs. On the day itself, the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that all our guests were well looked after. The food was excellent—beautifully presented, delicious, and served promptly despite the size of our group. Every detail was handled with care, and we felt genuinely valued throughout. I can’t recommend The Bolingbroke highly enough for anyone planning an event or simply looking for top-quality service and food in a warm, welcoming setting.

The atmosphere was nice, the staff were kind, the music was great, and it was clean. The food was delicious. the drink was great. Sometimes it gets busy and you have to wait, but it is worth waiting. Among the pubs I have tried in London, I liked it a lot. Reservations are required. It was a nice experience.

We were a party of 11 friends and this pub was perfect. The food was very well priced and tasty, the waitress was lovey and attentive. Not a place for a special treat but great for big groups or a casual lunch

Very nice food, efficient and friendly staff. Lively Friday night atmosphere, couldn't hear the other person all the time, best to probably go on a week night. Slightly cold in the dining area in winter.

Very reasonable cost and a marvelous Spanish red but my wife's beef burger was inedible. The starters, halumi and squid were chewy and greasy. I suspect the microwave had been put to use. However bar and waiting staff were charming so I hope to try it again.

This pub in Wandsworth was recommended to me by a good friend, for which I heartily thank him. You have to know about this gem to get to it and I am pretty sure you will not be disappointed if you do visit. Lovely setting for family gatherings for Sunday lunch, you should book in advance - just to be sure you can find a table. Very pleasant atmosphere and very busy. Pity it was raining - on a sunny day the tables outside must be really nice, especially since the roads around it are pedestrian on Sundays. Had a meze dish to start off while we waited for our friends, with warm pitta bread slices, olives and feta cheese, halloumi and roast synergies and red peppers as well as tzatziki and hummus dips. Yummy. For mains we went for the traditional roast beef and roast pork dishes (with a “Yorkie” , Yorkshire pudding) - crackling included with the pork! We also tried the wild boar sausages and mash. Full to the brim as we were, the charms of the server were not wasted on us and we did try the cheesecake and chocolate pudding, followed by good espressos to keep us awake after such a grand meal. The staff were simply excellent and I will definitely be back next time I’m in London on a Sunday

Visited this place on 15th August 21. Ordered Sunday roast for the 3 of us, 2 chicken and 1 beef. The food arrived within 3 minutes from when we ordered. The drinks were still not at the table. The chicken looked white and rather boiled than roasted at all. We spoke to the waiter who was disrespectfully chewing gum and returned our food. He insisted that the meal was roasted not boiled. They apologized and asked to choose something else from the menu but was completely dissapointed and left soon.
