A disgrace of a company. I tried to be nice and donate a sofa, firstly, they put the wrong date down and made me wait all day for nothing. Then after a week, driver comes says there's "bobbles" on the sofa. I think it's just an excuse because they didnt want to lift it. Phoned the shop, girl couldn't care any less. A disgrace and pathetic company and please don't waste your time. Now they'll reply, sorry etc... email or call us, (just to show they care) but it's not worth it. Don't bother with this rubbish company.

I'm trying to donate a brand new recliner sofa...its far too big for my new flat. I've sat in all day waiting for the pick-up and I've made it clear that if it's not picked up in the hour I'm heading out & this week I'll donate the sofa to another charity who can give a rough time slot to pick it up. British heart foundation want the donations but are not interested in accommodating the people who donate...I've got a life & not wasting a full day waiting around for people who can't let me know when they'll be here.

Avoid donating goods to them unless you want to risk your property being damaged without recourse. I donated a sofa bed to the British Heart Foundation with the expectation of supporting a good cause. Instead, I received sheer incompetence and a complete lack of accountability. During the collection, their team damaged my radiator while moving the sofa. The damage was significant and was absolutely not there before they arrived. We sent a detailed, polite email to their complaints department the same day, providing photos and asking for a resolution. They have completely ignored us. No acknowledgement, no apology, nothing. This shows a blatant disregard for their donors. They were happy to take my donation but refuse to take responsibility for the costly damage they caused. My advice? Avoid!!. Their charity ends the moment your item is in their van. Save yourself the hassle and donate elsewhere.

I will NEVER use this shop again . Lost my Dad last month and donated hundreds of pounds of furniture . Saw a sofa in it 2 weeks ago for £175 i asked if they would take £140 and i would give them it back once my new suite i ordered came in and i would give it back to them to resell.. . . Told me no which was fair enough . i called Sun 16th March and they said was now £100 so i says can i pay for it now on phone and collect tomorrow the girl was so rude and said no way and i am just out the next day and its sold !!!! why could i not pay in full on the phone after all i donated . i am so angry disgrace !!!! wont ever donate here again .

We purchased a lovely oak sideboard and rug from the Motherwell store. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It was great to be given a delivery time which was met.

We were donating our leather corner suite, the guy that came to take it said they couldn't because of wear and tear, absolutely nothing wrong with it, think it must have been too much much trouble for them
