   Went there for my nieces 50th birthday. She hired a room and the bar service was slow. The food and cake was put on what I would classify as wallpaper trestle table. Not equipped for the food and cake that was on it. An employee knocked the table in error and the food and cake went flying. It was set up again for it to collapse again. Second complaint was the long queue to enter room. Standing on steep steps not good

   I used to go to Embargo for a night out in my 20's. I have just turned 50 and decided that I wanted a private party, dancing the night away with my friends who were flying in from all over the world. We met with Rania Milat who is the Sales and Marketing Manager and she agreed to letting us take the whole place over for a night in January 2025. We worked together on the theme and my vision for the night and Rania went ahead and sourced absolutely everything and came up with plenty of other suggestions she thought I might like (spoiler - I loved them all!). I cannot describe how perfectly everything ran, how great of a collaborator she is, especially given that I am not based in the UK so it was all done via WhatsApp. The whole crew who were there on the night from the DJ to the dancers to the musicians to the caterers to the bar tenders to the waiters were on point and all in line with the joyful vibe we were going for. But all the credit really goes to Rania for anticipating absolutely every need - always there to change out my drink, give me a tour of all the little details, collect and store gifts which she then brought to my hotel along with the cake and other mementos from the night. But possibly my favourite "touch" was when my feet could no longer handle my stilettos, she brought me a small carpet to dance on that also fit the theme of the party. I could not imagine this party being any better in any way and the feedback we have received from all of our guests were words like "best party ever" and "what a great venue". Our guest list (160 people) ranged from age 18 to 82 and everything in between, with the majority being 40's / 50's. Most people did not sit down all night (we were there for 8 hours) and were dancing and having the time of our lives. Rania and the whole team put in so much effort on our behalf and I could not be more grateful to them or thankful that we made the decision to go with Embargo Republica as the venue for this party.

   This place is awesome. We enjoyed it . A good place to drink, dance and to spend time with Friends and family. It is a Cuban style clubs. The staff is friendly. A beautiful terrace for sitting and smoking.

   Working on a private event in Embargo Republica is nothing but pleasure in a pure form! There has been no wish from our side that Shane and the team were not willing or able to make for us! Everything, from honest pricing, through the whole event identity, was taken care of, while upholding the highest class in industry. I would definitely recommend booking this place to anyone who would like their event to be truly special

   I organised a 21st birthday after party for my son at Embargo (being back in touch with the club was just like the old days, "the cycle of life"!) and worked with Shane who runs the events at Embargo. The behind the scenes organisation was fantastic and the guys had a fantastic party at the Club. Thank you Shane for making it happen and to all the staff at the Club for making the party so welcome.

   Heard really good things about this place so I decided to take my girlfriend for her birthday. Location was great and the environment was nice although the crowd was a bit younger than expected! The gent working on the terrace bar was super helpful and polite as were the majority of the staff except the young brunette lady working bottle service. We arrived very early so took a seat for a minute before being abruptly interrupted mid conversation and told to move. The woman didn't offer us any service, more so assumed that we would not be paying for a table and didn't even give us the opportunity to purchase, the manner in which she spoke to us was very condescending and patronising. Would have loved to spend the rest of our night and money there but felt offended to the point we took our money elsewhere. Would hope to see better service should we return in future!

   I’ve been in Embargo few times. It’s a Lovely place in Chelsea. Great decor and dancing area. I love the fact there is a smoking terrace where you can smoke or just sit down and have a drink- as there is another bar so no need to go downstairs to grab one. Staff is very friendly, doormen, waitresses and bartenders. Drinks are well presented and taste so delicious. Music is always good. Very positive vibes from staff- especially bartenders. Definitely will come back soon. Definitely recommend this place
