   Apologies for the late review, I thought I'd done this ages ago. Cannot recommend Witherspoon's garage enough. I had a torrid time last year with my much-loved, but admittedly temperamental Peugeot RCZ when it managed to crack a high pressure fuel rail. The staff were incredibly helpful, despite this part turning out to be a bit of a nightmare to get a hold of. Alex the mechanic went above and beyond to help me source the part elsewhere as it was only on backorder at Peugeot. Sadly we ended up having to wait for Peugeot in the end and the car was stuck there for about 3 months (100% Peugeot's fault, not Witherspoon's) but Alex stayed in touch throughout and took good care of my car :) The final bill was almost exactly what I was expecting for such a big job & I was not charged anything for storing the car either (I'm sure they were all sick of the sight of it after a while). Considering Witherspoons are not specifically a Peugeot specialist, they were 100 times better than any actual Peugeot garage. Went above and beyond and always pleasant to deal with - highly recommended.

   Very disappointing! I brought my 2006 Honda to Witherspoon Motor Services for an MOT and was negatively stunned by the treatment. Without prompting, the owner informed me that they no longer wanted me as a client, as my car wasn’t posh enough for them. I hadn’t asked for any special treatment or discount, paid the full amount—yet was dismissed purely based on their judgment of my car. I’ve rarely encountered such arrogance in a business. Appalling service, focused more on appearances than on substance. At this point, I’d question whether they’re even worth the price they charge.

   Professional, accommodating, thoughtful and efficient. Best garage I’ve ever been to: my car had some strange noises five days before an important long journey. While another famous garage said that it might be a serious gearbox issue and asked me to contact the dealership - whose earliest slot would be in two weeks. Kevin and his team managed to check my car in a very short notice and located the problem - fully fixed immediately and also made sure the car was ready for a heavy load and long distance trip. A true saviour and definitely will be our future choice! P.s. the receptionist was very helpful and sorry I didn’t get the name. Owe her a big thank you!

   No hesitation to recommend Kevin, Dawn and their team. Witherspoon has been my 'go - to' garage for 9 years now with no surprises to my MOT and service bills. Great to see a family business thrive by delivering a top quality service. Great near city centre location but more importantly excellent service, advice, and value (benchmarking against dealers and even other local garages I know I'm getting superb value and I haven't been pushed into unnecessary work). Refreshingly informative, polite, and accommodating short notice appointments.
