   Twickenham Jazz Club is the best in West London and based in Twickenham near the station. Lesley Christine who runs the club books excellent bands , who are all experienced and impressive musicians. Last night’s was superb and featured the Alex Hutton & Nicolas Meier Quartet. The atmosphere is moody and perfect for listening to great jazz. If you like jazz then I couldn’t recommend it more highly! Richard

   It's hosted by Lesley Christiane in a very relaxed, intimate venue which creates the most wonderful environment for jazz music. I have witnessed several local and international musicians and vocalists who have entertained throughout the UK and worldwide. Our passionate host further enhances the experience as Lesley sometimes supports the acts with her wonderful voice, I can only thank her because there would'nt be much jazz in this part of the world.

   I have been looking for a good place to come to for jazz. I look ahead in good anticipation. Last week and this week I rang for details, all I can say is that the bar staff Hannah and Stewart have been a great help and very informative towards me and my friend's upcoming night. Every detail was covered of what I asked and I look forward to a good jazz event and meeting the people that have been so informative along with a good jazzzzz night. :)

   Sounds of burnished brass, sinuous saxophones and a pulsating rhythm section melded seamlessly together under the benign leadership of Kelvin Christiane on tenor, greet you as you enter Twickenham's top jazz venue, the Cabbage Patch. The band's library is refreshingly different - big band jazz standards yes, but also originals contributed by members of the band, and with a fine leavening of vocals by the honey-toned Lesley Christiane. Good food, too, at reasonable prices - eg two large pizzas for ten pounds. Jazz every Tuesday - big band first Tuesday every month - don't miss it. DD
