   Shame on you Halfords! I booked my car in to .Milton Road as my ABS light and power steering kept coming on. I received a call saying my car would cost around £2000 - £3000 to repair as a few things needed done, and no point fixing it. It is an old car 2013, but only done 51000 miles, and never needed much done. I took it to my own mechanic, he fixed the problems and only cost £120, plus extra for tyres. Please beware and get a second opinion.

   I booked an MOT appointment in advance, only to have it cancelled at the last minute with very little notice. This left me completely stuck, as I’d arranged time off work and relied on the booking being honoured. A cancelled MOT isn’t just an inconvenience—it can make it illegal to use the car until another slot is found. I expected a professional service, but instead I was left scrambling to find another garage. No real effort was made to rebook me promptly or offer an alternative solution. Very poor organisation and customer care. I won’t be using this garage again and would not recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable MOT service.

   Really friendly, sorted my car before I headed off on a road trip and was absolutely fine the full two weeks of driving. Just peace of mind that it had been looked over properly and been fully serviced before doing so much driving. Highly recommend!
