   I took my car here for its MOT and it failed (rightly so). I was told that I needed new break disks and pads and that there was an issue with my rear lights that they wouldn’t be able to fix as they are not auto electricians. All this was fair enough. I was then quoted over £700 to get my new pads and disks with no attempt to fix my lights. With this quote being too high without being able to fix everything I took my car to a different garage on morning side offering to do the same work for less. On their inspection they found that there was infact no issues with my disks and there was actually a problem with my calipers. After fixing these issues I asked the garage to do my MOT for me instead of Kwik fit and they passed it on what I was asked to get fixed but failed it on things that kwik fit missed. If I had been caught out for this it would have been a serious issue and this has ended up costing more than I was prepared to pay had I simply been told of all the issues. I have found their staff incredibly unhelpful as with my initial fail they were very vague in what was actually wrong with my car and I have found this experience to be very distressing and stressful. If I am unable to be compensated for me MOT then I hope that if anyone reading this takes their car to an independent garage that would benefit much more from your time and money then that will almost help me recover from this awful experience.

   Pretty good. This branch was able to fix my puncture that morning (which the other branches I visited were not) but if *kwik*-fit can't do that or don't reserve some capacity to accommodate that then frankly what's their USP exactly?

   I brought my car in with no brake problems. When I left it was too dangerous to drive and had to be recovered on a flat bed. They were aware that the car had a break fluid leak but said they were unable to fix it. They said it was associated with new bearings that had been installed by my garage more than 200 miles before. There had been no leak prior to quick fit. When people make a mistake I expect them to own up and fix it not try to blame other people. It was clear they were not going to accept responsibility, what a terrible way to conduct business.

   This Kwik Fit is the best garage in town! Every time I’ve had an issue with my car, the team has been super helpful, professional, and willing to get it sorted—even on the same day. Had a screw in my tyre? No problem—25 minutes and it was done! Something hanging from the bottom of my car? They checked it right away and fixed it quickly without any fuss & free of charge! They’re always friendly, fast, and professional. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and efficient garage!

   Amazing team down at Chesser Ave. Derek was brilliant in helping us fix an issue that had occurred with a previous dealership. he managed to get us in at short notice so that we could get the car back on the road as soon as possible. All work done efficiently and for great value! Highly recommend.

   Took the car for service here. Was given a list of mandatory and recommended work totalling over £200. Had to ask 3 times that only mandatory repairs get carried out, saying very clearly that it's just financially difficult to pay such a big bill at the moment. The mechanic kept insisting and trying to upsell. I appreciate it's good to have repairs done, but with the current cost of living crisis, I just feel people should be more considerate if explicitly told a customer can't afford a repair. There's no need to be pushy. It's hard enough for people right now.

   I have used this branch of Kwik Fit once before (unable to provide feedback the last time due to a broken web link) and the service was excellent then and just the same this time. I have dealt with Derek on both occasions, who had fitted me in promptly when requesting an appointment, who kept me updated on progress and options, and didn’t try to give sales ‘patter’ that often comes with visits to these types of garages. Genuinely, just giving me the best of his knowledge, and his suggested best option for my vehicle. Would always use this garage before any other. Cannot recommend highly enough.
