   Struggling a bit with this review, as the food we had was quite nice. The problem is the price, its massively overpriced for whats Wetherspoons level food. The burger is nice, but all extras are £3. Like, all of them. One slice of cheese is £3. One slice. Mark up on that must be upwards of 1000%. It stinks of a rip off. Service is iffy at best too, some staff are good, others really can't be bothered at all and need to find jobs they enjoy better. Needs a better management, who prioritises customer service and value. Value always wins.

   Not the cheapest but being fair restaurants in hotels never are so go in with your eyes open and you'll end up with a happy belly. The food was good and the staff were lovely. Not really much more to say than that

   Xmas dinner was good. One small thing though, I was surprised to see one of your waiting staff wearing a Celtic jersey whilst serving food/drinks. Very unprofessional.

   The food was delicious, and the atmosphere cozy, but the service was dismal. The staff was very friendly, but everything was so slow in arriving. I had to remind the server that I had ordered a soda twice, meeaning that I asked . At the end of our meal, my in-laws ordered coffee. When their coffee came, I ordered tea and my husband ordered coffee. After about 10 minutes, I just got up and asked for the bill. Follow up - my husband thought the food was pretty bland and ordinary, and overpriced for what we got. (3 scallops as a starter)

   Have been to Bowfield for Easter Sunday lunch for the last 3 years but today was disappointing. Lighting so dim over booths nearly impossible to see menu, 20 minutes before our food order was taken, just under the hour before it was served. Starter served after main course, dessert just as hard to get and served without cutlery. Food nice enough but as I was eating with 2 young children more prompt and hassle free service would have been appreciated. Lovely staff.... but sad to say after today we won't be back.
