A green space bounded in two sides by busy roads. Still a pleasant place to walk or take a picnic. Some lovely mature trees.
I only visit here when the funfairs here as its the best in the area
We went to see Gandey's Circus on the Heath, as always well managed and parked on the Heath very easily.
Huge park. Went to Gandeys Circus. Lots of place to park around. Walking trails around the park and benches around. Dogs are allowed as well.
Supposed to be National Trust but even members have to pay to park! The gardens don't allow dogs in even on a lead! Members also have to pay to visit the farm! Very poor!
One of my favourite shorter walks is around the Big Heath. I head towards Ladies Mile, taking in the latest flowers en route, turn into the heath at Northwich Road and walk the perimeter. The beautiful sunshine yesterday was an added bonus.
We attend the mayday fair here almost every year and have done for a number of years. Our family enjoys the day as do we. There is ample space and rides to enjoy the day. It's always been well organised and there's usually enough parking too which is helpful in Knutsford.
