   i was with this practice for nearly 10 and was left in extreme pain on two separate occasions after having an emergency appointment with them. In 2021 I was heavily pregnant and had a tooth infection, my face was completely swollen and i was refused antibiotics and instead given a scale and polish which made things so much worse and lead t on me ending up alone in a and e heavily pregnant at 4am during the covid pandemic. A and e then provided antibiotics within minutes of being seen. it was a clear infection and the dentist knew this as well and happily left me in agony. The second time was earlier this year when again i had an infection, and was refused antibiotics for it because i’d already been on antibiotics for a viral infection a week before (even through viral infection antibiotics DO NOT heal tooth infections) and i was clearly in EXTREME PAIN, instead i was left with this pain and infection and told to book in for root canal meaning they would of carried out root canal even though i had an infection, again i ended up having to take up an “out of hours service” doctors times to be provided the antibiotics the dentist should have prescribed during the emergency appointment. They have left me in extreme pain twice now even though they have a duty of care to relieve you from pain during an emergency appointment. i’m glad to say i will certainly not be back.

   I have been coming to West Calder Dental Care for over 20 years, I can only say that they are absolutely brilliant, all the staff, receptionists, nurses and dentists are so kind, helpful and professional. I have recently gone through several procedures with Paul and am very happy with all the hard work he has put in. He had a big challenge with me and he pulled through. Thank you so much Margaret Johnson I have recently been back to have more treatment with Paul, what can I say, he is a miracle worker, don't know how he does it? I can't thank you enough Paul, I'm a disaster and you are amazing. Thank you so much again Margaret Johnson

   Used this dentist for years now Chris the dentist i get is fantastic if anyone suffers anxiety he will do all he can to help and make it as painless as possible all the reception staff are always nice and helpful its generally a nice feeling place that helps put the mind at ease I have used other dentist in past years outside of west calder with horrible experiences and never again

   14 years ago I smashed my front tooth and damaged one’s on either side. Resulting in a number of dentures and a failed crown. Managed to get referred to west Calder dental for an implant. I’m honestly so over the moon that now I can finally smile with confidence and eat comfortably. Thanks to Paul for carrying out the work. Brilliantly done!

   I was terrified of going to the dentist and waited over 10 years before having to make an appointment due to toothache. Paul put me at ease & explained what he was going to do & to let him know if I needed a break during treatment. Can't recommend this practice highly enough.

   Paul and his dental team have been a blessing for the last 18 years as I'm not the easiest patient - anxious in the chair!. They have always taken the time to explain things thoroughly, and clearly so i can understand it. The front desk at West Calder Dental Care practice are professional and very friendly. Even although I have moved away from the West Calder area I am still a patient there, as I would not go anywhere else.

   What a lovely practice been coming here 18 months . I cannot find fault . the Receptionist are fine . Dental Nurses are all fine too. The Dentist I see is Christopher Ogle . He is fantastic . I had my first time needing treatment . I needed replacement filling. I explained scared of being drilled had bad past experiences . But Christopher was great with me . I was talked through everything I was relaxed . honestly I never felt a thing . I find it a pleasure to be treated here .
