   Went to Batida during a visit to Bristol to attend university open day . We booked a table in advance for 6:30 , we were a bit late, but we were seated straight away . The starters were sourdough bread with olives and aji chicken . The portion size was good, the starters were tasty . For the mains, we ordered arroz con pollo, chicken quesadilla and argentinian steak sandwich, all of them cooked to perfection. We were served by Gaby, she was very pleasant, polite snd efficient. Service was great , ambience was good and we will definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like to try a different cuisine . By the time we left , all the tables were occupied and could see couples, families and small groups having a good time .

   Had bottomless brunch here and thought it was really good value for money. The cocktails were nice and weren't watered down, and the breakfast burrito was delicious! Service was good and our drinks never ran dry.

   A group of us came for a staff party and managed to get a booth outside and had lovely bread and olives whilst we waited for everyone. We had a few different cocktails which were all really nice. Ordered a selection of dishes including the patatas bravos, crispy calamari, mac and cheese, pork balls and the favourites were fish tacos, plantain tacos, aubergine strips and tater tots . I was looking forward to the Camerones con chipotle and the prawns and bread were delicious but the sauce was a bit sickly and oily. The staff were all lovely but we had issues waiting for service, 4 of our dishes didn’t arrive and we had to ask twice for them and no plates cleared. We did tell the staff and they sorted it out and were very friendly. We would all come again as the food was delicious and the staff were nice and apologetic for the error.

   It is a very nice atmospheric restaurant. Friendly efficient service. Menu has a great variety of dishes. Nice cocktails with a wide selection of tequila. They even have a cigar menu. The food is delicious. Step to get into the restaurant and no parking. We parked in the residential road opposite, which is fine after 6.00pm

   Service is great, food delicious and recipes are Mediterranean and Latin , something different from usual and amazingly cooked. They can satisfy all meat eaters or vegetarians, good choice of mock tails and fresh pressed fruit juices. Prices are cheaper compared to other places for quality of food and service. Highly recommended. It’s a lovely, cosy and great place to go with friends. I loved it.

   Excellent place for Mexican food and an absolutely amazing lunch deal, highly recommend! At the time of this review, their £9.95 lunch deal includes a main, fries and a drink. The food is of exceptional quality and a good range of options including those for vegetarian or vegan diets. Atmosphere is great and can imagine this would be even better in the evening.

   I was expecting just ok Mexican style food like most Mexican restaurants in Britain ( usually tasteless and overpriced with small portions). Not here. Food was full of flavour. Filling. Tacos were stuffed. The main seafood dish was lovely. I was dead impressed. Cocktails again were done properly. Nice staff. Cosy venue. One small complaint. We ended up rushing off because it was so cold inside. Look forward to coming back.

   Went on a lunch time, the food was good and ok value for lunch - burrito and fries, plus a drink circa £10 - ordered tacos separately, £4 for one taco is expensive, considering the complexity and presentation of the product. The taco was nothing special and hardly worth £4. Say you’re on an evening and paid £12 for 3 tacos, you would have been disappointed - perhaps we’re spoilt by the late Wahaca. The service was good, cannot fault that, plus they have local beer on draft. Probably 3.5, wouldn’t rush back, but would return.
