I’d give this place no stars for service if I could ! We were visiting Paisley and a resident suggested we try the Arts Centre for a quick lunch , when we went in two tables were occupied, both appeared to have their orders . We ordered five bagels (toasted) after an acceptable wait three arrived, we waited and waited and eventually I went to the counter and a fourth bagel appeared shortly after that . I subsequently noticed people who had ordered ( again bagels ) after us receiving their orders, the missed bagel was the simplest on the menu, plain cheese. I again complained about the wait and was told our missing bagel was being made . I’m one of those people who , when I’m eating in company I like all meals to arrive together or at least within a few minutes . However, if you have made a mistake and mixed up orders , please do not assume I’m stupid and won’t realise this . Simply apologise for the mistakes, don’t try to cover up by saying you were busy . The bagels were fine , nothing special, however, I recommend you give this place a wide berth, the young people running the cafe think that , because we’re not as young as them they can fob people off . A simple sorry I made a mistake in the order and didn’t do correctly- busy doesn’t wash went you obviously were not ! Avoid if more than two or three in your party ! I eventually received my bagel after everyone else had finished theirs - totally unacceptable! *Update , I tried to respond to the owners reply but was unable to I do appreciate your reply , however, as I stated there were no tables waiting on food when we ordered , other tables who ordered after us did receive orders prior to us , the staff never mentioned any wait when we ordered 5 bagels , the rest of my party were extremely annoyed as I had paid for the lunch but received my order last ! I would also dispute your timings but as I have no evidence of exact timings I can not ! I appreciate you saying how experienced your staff are , I think if that is the case they should have known to say to a customer ordering 5 bagels that all the orders could not be filled at the same time! Your response again appears an attempt to cover for a mistake, the patrons for the panto all arrived long after our food was ordered . I would have appreciated a simple response admitting a mistake was made with the orders but obviously that is not going to happen. In summary, I dispute the fact you say others had ordered prior to me, your staff did not explain they couldn’t cope with the amount of bagels ordered (5) , the bagels arrived 3 then 1 then 1 and the first three people had finished before we received ours , not great service . I actually come from a background where we were taught to wait until everyone received their food before starting to eat , any thanks again for responding and I’m afraid we can agree to differ . My only advice would be to get the staff to explain to customers ordering multiple bagels about delays etc .

I really enjoyed my visit to Blend. I got the tea with oatmilk which came as a pot of tea which was lovely. I got the cheese toasty which was really tasty and was served with homemade coleslaw and crisps. The place is cosy, the staff are lovely and even offered my little dog a pupacchino. Very dog friendly, I had my dog sitting on my lap the whole time which was completely fine. I'll definitely return, would be a lovely place to study of read a book. I'll be trying more on the menu for sure! And Poppy will most definitely be back with me. Staff always say goodbye when you're leaving, which I think is nice. You're not just a number in this local coffee shop. More people should visit our local shops to keep them open. You wouldn't get the same service in Costa etc.

Lovely coffee and desserts, however I felt the place was a tad cold, not in both temperature but in atmosphere too. Felt very stiff and empty. Coffee is only as good when you have the atmosphere to accompany it with your friend/family. Maybe some Fake plants/warm lighting could help.

Really cozy place with a nice homey atmosphere. My boyfriend and I come here regularly for brunch of Warm Belgian Waffles and some warm drinks. It is our favorite little date to go on and the food and drinks are always tasty! Staff is nice and helpful :)
