The atmosphere was fantastic and the haircut ended up perfect! The hairdresser - Wendy really knew what she was doing and was a pleasure to talk to. Overall a great salon!

Highly recommend this lovely salon. I popped in for a last minute cut and blow dry and was so pleased with the customer service provided by Johan and Kirsty throughout the entire process. It was my first visit and Johan gave me the exact cut (length) I wanted and offered to add some very flattering face-framing layers which I love. It's been a long time since I had such a perfect cut and I left feeling great not only from the cut but the lovely chat we had.
I came in a couple months ago and Mark did my hair. He is incredible with colour and giving advice on how to style your hair. I’ve always struggled with the shape of my hair and Mark cut it in a way that has allowed it to be low maintenance and look incredible. He recoloured my hair so it suited my skin tone and could grow out in a way that wasn’t obvious. Amazing hairdresser!
From the moment I inquired about having my hair coloured to when I walked out of Noir Rouge, I was made to feel welcome. Charlie is knowledgeable and has a terrific eye to what will look good and suit your skin tone. He managed to transform my hair back to its original colour explaining what he had in mind. He was courteous, professional and the end result looks great! Definitely worth a visit!
I feel like I have found my forever hairdresser. Having gone to many in Edinburgh I came here and I won't look back. I've been with Kristine several times now and she is incredible. Takes great care to make sure your hair is perfect and that you're happy with it. She's also extremely talented with short hair which - having had several hairdresser nightmares - I'm so glad to have found her. The salon itself is beautiful; it's small but in a nice way; it's clean and it's bright and professional. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good quality, well-priced, wonderful hairdresser.
I got went in for a haircut, and Mark (salon director) did an incredible job. You can tell he has immense experience and knowledge, and was very very helpful in specifically suggesting what would suit my hair texture, while accommodating what I wanted. I absolutely love my cut, it’s perfect and very nicely done! Mark really did a great job, considering how heavy and wavy my hair is. He’s a gentleman, and very nice to chat to. The service was efficient, quick and great! I wish I lived closer to Edinburgh and could come here for my haircuts often
Went here for the first time yesterday and loved the whole experience! Really warm welcome when I arrived about 20 minutes early! Was given a cup of tea and a couple of sweets while I waited. Unfortunately I didn’t get the gentleman’s name who done my cut and blow dry. I do know he’s the creative director of the store though! I had an idea of what style I wanted for my hair and showed him the images I had. What I loved was he gave constructive criticism and creative suggestions based on my hair type! I absolutely love the look I’ve came out with. It’s very much tailor made to how my hair sits naturally as well as my hair type and facial features. Also got advice on the best type of styling product for my fine flat hair which was a clay product. Delighted with the whole experience! On the way out I was given a little loyalty card and a wee gift bag with some festive chocolates inside! Highly recommend this place if you haven’t been already!
Visited for the first time today and will absolutely be going back. Such fantastic service. I didn't even have an appointment and the staff couldn't have been better about fitting me in and helping me out. My hair was cut by Mark who was a dream. Loved the cut and advice he gave me, but besides being exceptionally good at what he does, he was great fun. None of the normal hairdresser nightmare chat - instead interesting, witty and insightful. I haven't enjoyed a haircut so much in a long time.
