Went to go to a fair but was sold out. Kids played fo4 hours in the sun in the park here. Very pleased

It's a good urban park located a short walk from the town centre. Large free car park. Excellent play area for the kids. A nice pond with seating. There's also a BMX area, football pitches & a bowling green. I'm not sure what the opening times are but there's a veg, flower, fruit garden selling produce. Theatre Porto is located right in the middle of the park. It has a reasonably priced cafe. It's a nice place to stroll or walk your dog.

A proper breath of fresh air—literally and figuratively. Whitby Park’s one of those rare gems where the playground actually works. No graffiti, no burnt-out swings, and—miracle of miracles—no steaming landmines left by careless canines. It’s like spotting a unicorn, but it’s a slide that still slides. Loads of space for kids to sprint about like they’ve had three Lucozades and a packet of Skittles, and parents can finally relax without scanning for rogue pits of despair in the grass. Free parking’s a lovely touch—like finding chips at the bottom of the takeaway bag—but blink and it’s full. Luckily, the side roads offer backup parking for those who don’t mind pretending to live dangerously near double yellows. 4 stars because nothing’s perfect, but this one comes close—especially if you’re after a whiff of fresh air and not Eau de Dog Park.

I had such a nice time at Whitby Park. It’s a lovely, peaceful place that feels really welcoming from the moment you arrive. I spent some time walking around and just taking it all in — the open green spaces, the friendly atmosphere, and the quiet beauty of the park. The playground was full of happy kids, and it made the whole park feel so lively and cheerful. I also loved how dog-friendly it was; it felt like everyone was enjoying themselves, whether they were out for a walk or playing with their pets.

A great place for little mischief makers. There is enough space and climbing frames for children up to 10 years old. The only thing that sometimes I don't like is that dogs and people who smoke are brought inside. There is also no toilet where the children can go when they need it, they have to do it behind the bushes. Also inside the park there are 2 soccer fields, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, skateboard ramps and a marsh that has different types of birds that live there.

Lovely park with lots of places to walk your dog, really quiet and lots of parking spaces available. There's a nice play area, a pond to feed the ducks and lots of squirrels running round too.

Lovely mature park in Ellesmere Port and close to the town centre. It's got football pitches, basketball court, tennis courts, skateboard park, bowling green, children's play area, cafe, pond, toilets and carpark.
