Quiet, but considering it was the middle of the day that makes sense. The place looked kind of worn out, the leather on the benches in the booths was half gone. It was offputting. Also the drink I got smelled and tasted like cleaning fluids. I ordered a simple drink and it tasted watered down and unpleasant. I genuinely thought there was soap left in my glass or something. I didn't order food but Google isn't letting me publish without rating it, feel free to disregard that rating.

A local pub in the heart of my small town, it's a great place to visit with friends or family. The staff are absolutely excellent, and there is a variety of beers on tap or in bottle format. It's had a facelift and looks fantastic although a few of the chairs now look worn and tired. It has a small beer garden which is a great place to visit in the summer. There's also a pool table for a pound a shot.

Didn't have food ar anything just a fee drinks, nice atmosphere but it was very quiet. I will return another time as its just a local wee pub, nothing special friendly staff and as I said I don't know if they do food but will try it next time if they do serve it.

Had our daughter's communion party there on Saturday - staff were great, couldn't do enough for us. Great communication throughout from enquiry, to booking and paying the balance. Thanks for a great night, everyone enjoyed it.

Called Friday evening for a meal. We had steak pie with puff pastry. It came in its own individual dish. There was lots of it and it was so tasty. One of the best I have had in a long time.
